Ghosts

I'm terrified of them,

Sneaking and creeping up on me,

At night.

Whispering sorrow and sadness in my ear.

She never loved you.

She never will.

Poltergeist, sometimes.

Throwing pictures against the wall,

Ripping my covers off.

Other times, shadows.

Slithering upon my bedside,

Or demons that possess me.

And you're doing the same to him.

You don't love him.

Ghosts that look like you,

Grab my hands and spin me like a top.

Ghosts that look like you,

Place angel kisses among my lips.

And laugh like the autumn wind,

But all at once, disappears.

And suddenly they are only Ghosts.
