Tell Me When the Lights Fade

Tell me when the lights fade,

Whether you want me to stay,

Do you want me to wait?

I must me be leaving soon,

Acting upon my puristic feelings like a loon.

Walk upon my chest like the pools of moon.

It's far too crowded here,

And I feel the doors are near,

You just say, "Make yourself clear".

I cannot, I am afraid,

You're always flaunting about how you've been laid,

Only God knows how I've been played.

Tell me when the lights fade,

Whether you want me to stay,

Do you want me to wait?

All my exes can smell your perfume,

It suffocates them in this empty room,

When every single word reminds me of you.

The acoustics of this beaten heart,

You'd call my pain a work of art,

Because melodies are broken poetry.
