If I Change *Luke Hemmings*

A/N: I deleted the other chapter in case you read it. This is a new chapter 3!

Ashton was called up once again to work the night shift. Thats when the feeling creeped into me. The feeling of feeling unwanted. I'm not sure why i feel this way, guys at school want me all the time. Everyone wants to be friends with me.. maybe for all the wrong reasons but they still want to be friends with me. I know Ashton loves me and would do anything for me and that should be enough right? But it's not. I want more. I want people to want me for the real me not the Brooke who gets drunk and knows how to have a good time at parties.   

I thought about Luke. For some odd reason i can't stop thinking about him, maybe it's the fact that he won't leave me alone no matter how much of a bitch i am to him. I couldn't stop thinking about what he had said when he saw me with Daniel, "You said you'd stop this" I kept picturing the hurt look in his eyes. What did he mean by "stop this" ? Did he mean stop hooking up with guys? When had i even said anything to him? I've never talked to him about anything involving my social life. 

I need to tallk to Luke. I know i said i dont want to be seen around him but i just need to talk to him. I need to know what he has been talking about. Right now my reputation doesn't really matter. Soon i will be graduating from Biltmore High and none of that will matter.

Is Luke working today? I texted Miranda

Moments later i recieved a reply saying, Yes why? ;)

I think i might stop by. Don't say anything! i replied 

I quickly fixed my hair, not bothering to apply any makeup. I was just going to go see Luke after all, he wouldn't mind. I walked out the apartment and headed to work.

I arrived 15 minutes later and walked into the coffee shop. My palms started sweating and my heart was beating 500 times per second. To say i was nervous was an understatement. I don't know why i'm even nervous but it could be the fact that Luke has spotted me and is walking straight towards me.

"Hi" i said shyly when he stopped right infront of me.

"Watcha doing here babe?" he winked and my heart skipped a beat.

"Uh i just i um.. i came to umm see you.." 

"You what?" Luke said completely shocked

I didn't reply. I just starred at him. I was completely embarrassed but i couldn't let him know that, it would be even more humiliating. After a minute of awkward starring he smiled and spoke, "You really came to see me?"

"yeah.."

His eyes light up and his smile grew wider and wider. Dimples showing and everything.

"Well my shift is over so how about we go somewhere else?"

I nodded and we walked out of the shop. 

"Where are we going?"

"Well i brought my car so anywhere you'd like"

"Can we go get something to eat first?" i asked embarrassed

He nodded and went into the McDonald's drive in. I ended up ordering chicken nuggets, fries and an oreo McFlurry. Luke order the same and we left.

"Can we go back to my place?"  i asked. If i arived home before Ashton he would kill me, specially knowing i was with a guy. Not that i'd do anything with Luke but of course he doesn't know that. 

I gave Luke directions on how to get to Ashton and my apartment. Soon we were at the front of my door and i was unlocking the door. I struggled to get the door open but finally the door was open. I walked in, Luke following behind. Hopefully this won't be awkward for him.

We walked into my room, it'd be more private there. Hopefully Ashton doesn't come home soon.

"So why'd you want to see me?" Luke said as we sat on my bed.

"U-um i had a um q-question"

"Ask away" he said with a cheeky smile. 

My heart beat grew faster and faster. I ran a hand through my hair and took a deep breath. I was completely nervous even though i had no reason to be.

"Yesterday, When Daniel hit you with the door.. you um you said something.."

"Oh. That you said you would stop that?"

I nodded, glad he understood what i was talking about and wouldn't make me explain everything.

"You don't remember do you?"

Remember what? Is there something i should know?

I shook my head.

"Me and You, at the party. That's what happened"

Oh god i slept with him didn't i? 

Luke began laughing. Did i say that out loud? Ugh could i be any more embarrassing?

"No we didnt have sex Brooke, calm down"

I sighed in relief. "Then what happened?"

Luke opened his mouth but he was cut off by the door flying open... Ashton.
