LUKE'S P.O.V

It's been a week since i left Brooke. Ashton was right, i can't change Brooke only she can. Hopefully she realizes that partying and getting drunk isn't any good for her.It might help her forget her problems for a while but they will always come back. I want to see the real Brooke, the girl that i held in my arms at that party. The girl who cried because it was her parents death anniversary and showed emotion. I want the girl who opened up to me. She might have been drunk but she still trusted me and i want her back. But for now i have to give her her space. I don't care that she drinks and likes to have fun but i want her to also be herself and know that not everyone will leave her side. I want to be the one that gets to be by her side...

BROOKE'S P.O.V

"So you're going to go talk to him?" Cassie asked me

I had come to Cassie for advice, after all she is the only true friend i have. I told her everything about Luke. How i wasn't sure about what i felt towards him but what i did know was that i didn't want to stay away from him. At least not anymore. How i had been feeling terrible for the past week. Luke wasn't there to make fun of me and ignore me. He didn't stare at me like he used to and i quite missed that. The way he would look at me as if i was something special. I missed the way he'd giggle every time i slapped his arm when he'd call me beautiful. I missed him teasing me about wearing too much makeup. I missed him.

"I have to. I can't just leave things off like this."

"Well go on then. Go work out things out with him i know he'll make you happy." she smiled.

"Remind me why you don't have a boyfriend?"  i teased

"Ahh i'm waiting for your lover's friend to hit on me" she winked

"Calum? You like Calum?" i asked shocked.   

Cassie blushed and hid her face.

"Naww isn't that cute" i laughed "I'll see what i can do" 

"Dont embarrass me" i heard her yell as i walked out through the front door.

Today Luke had the afternoon shift at the coffee shop we work at. I was determined to talk to him and win him back. Even though we really had nothing going on. Hopefully he will speak to me. I stopped at the front door and looked inside. Luke was preparing some drinks when he looked up at me and made eye contact. He froze and we just starred at eachother for a couple of seconds. He broke eye contact with me and went back to preparing drinks. Great he's going to ignore me. 

I walked right up to the desk with my hands inside of my pockets. Luke pretended i wasn't there and went to go whipe off the counter. I don't know what i have to do but i need this boy to talk to me before i go crazy.

"Luke" i called his name trying to get his attention. He flinched at the sound of my voice but recovered and went back to cleaning. He had gone over the same spot seven times, im pretty sure it was clean but he had nothing else to do after all there were no more customers.

"Luke please don't ignore me" 

"What do you want? I told you i didn't want to speak to you" Luke's voice showed no emotion but his words hurt. I wanted him to tell me he'd be there for me but instead he pushed me away.

"I want another chance. I know im not the ideal girl but i want to change and i know you can help me. I don't want to be known as the slutty girl anymore. I want to let go of everything. I want you by my side"  I don't know where that came from but i was officially humiliating myself. Luke was just going to laugh at me and tell me i had no chance with him. I'm pretty sure he's going to say i'm pathetic and-

My thoughts were caught off by a pair of strong arms being wrapped around me tightly. I took in Luke's scent and knew it was real. Luke was giving me another chance. He didnt think im pathetic or stupid.

"You're back. The girl from that party is back" he mummbled in my neck 

Slowly we slipped out of eachothers arms and stood face to face. We each had a grin plastered on our faces. Luke's blue eyes semed to twinkle more than usual. His dimples showed even more. I was sure it was the same for me, i was happy for once.

"I missed having you around" Luke said

"So did i"

"I love that you're not wearing any makeup, you look so much younger" he ruffed my hair.

I blushed and didn't even mind him messing with my hair even though it's quite annoying. I know Luke likes me better without makeup and maybe that's the only reason i didn't put some on today.

"So where do you want to go?" Luke asked looking down at me.

"Could we go get some iceream?"

"Anything for you" he smiled and walked out, me trailing behind 

The ride to the ice cream parlor was short. Luke kept looking at me and smiling. I tried hiding my smile but he'd catch me every time and laughed.

"What can i get for you?" the girl behind the counter asked

Luke ordered for the two of us and smiled down at me.

He paid for us and the cashier handed him the reciept. "call me" she winked

Did she not see me standing right beside him! I felt my blood boil and hands balled into fists.

I took the reciept from her hand before Luke could and smiled at her "Sure at what time?" i asked

She gave me a dirty look and walked away

Luke just laughed loudly and shook his head

"Nawww is wittle Brooky Jealous?" Luke said in a baby voice

I scoffed and rolled my eyes walking away from him.

"C'mon babe i was only joking" he said catching up to me "Here's your ice cream cone"

I smiled and quickly took it off his hands and began eating it. Ice cream really is the way to my heart haha.

We drove back to my place and layed in my room watching Mean Girls. Luke and i quoted almost the whole movie. I was pretty surprised when i found out he actually knew all the lines. Luke really is something else. But i'm glad i have him around :) Even if we are just friends.

A/N: Hellooooo lovelies. Double update today!!! :D So every chapter is going to be dedicated to someone starting the next chapter.
