My eyes open a bit closes again as I look into the sunlight.
I try to open my eyes again to get use to the sharp light in here.
In here? Where is that?
I look to my right. There's a heart monitor beeping and a drip. Sammie is in the bed next to me sleeping. Shaking my head I look to the other side.
Shawn is sitting in the chair, with his feet on the bed. His hair is messy,clearly from him pulling his hands through it. There's a shadow on his cheeks that showed he shaved quite a few days ago.
He moves his head and pulles his feet of the bed. When his feet fell he open his eyes, confuse at first but then he looks up at me.
"Amber, how you feeling?" He ask standing up from the chair.
I look around me again and the memories flushed back,all at once.
I hear the heart monitor picking up beats and reality dawns on me.
"Shawm, I'm so sorry" I said and look over at Sammie feeling more guilty by the minute.
"Amber?" Shawn says and takes my hands. My heart rate slows down a little and I look at Shawn.
"Listen to me, this wasn't your fault. You don't have to be sorry about any of this. Sammie wanted to stay with you and so did I." He says.
I look up at him with fresh tears in my eyes. He wipes them. I pull him closer for a huge and he took a step closer holding me. Letting his chin rest on my head.
"Hey, keep it PG in here. There's a minor in the room" Avatar said from the door way.
Tory comes from behind him, smacking him on the head
He grabs his head and pout. Tory walks in followed by Neill, Jack, Mason, Jo, Lisa and Avatar of course.
Lisa come up to my bed and grabs me in a bone crushing huge,"Oh Amie, I'm so sorry" she mumbled into my hair.
I just buried my face in her neck. Taking in her sweet smell. She's like a mother to me.
When she pull away I see a tears in her eyes but she turns away quickly,walking to Jo.
Everybody hugs me and soon everybody is standing in a circle around my bed and I know what their waiting for.
An explanations but i'm not going to give them one.
