From Rich to Ditch

Chapter Five

Larra's POV

After ko mag libot libot sa area ng hotel in which gaganapin ang event, may isang bagay lang naman akong napansin. I can say na the whole interior design of this hotel is surely designed by a great designer! The furniture, paintings, flooring, chandeliers, and else. They look simple yet very appealing to the eye. May taste naman pala. 

But then, one thing will always remain true, nothing beats the Kurkovas!

If maganda ang sa kanila, mas maganda ang sa amin! Sobrang ganda! Parang ako!

At the moment andito na ako sa loob ng convention hall. Marami talagang tao, this is really a big event! Well, on the other side of my thinking, hindi ko pa ata nakikita ang dalawa kong kasama. Siguro wala pa at hindi pa nakarating si Shrek and Trsitan. Tss paki ko sa kanila? Wala naman akong narinig galing kay Mr. Tan na kailangan pa naming icheck ang attendance ng bawat isa. 

Pero wait? Don't tell me na masaydong pa special yung Shrek na yun dahil pagmamay-ari nila ang hotel na 'to! Gosh! Baka mamaya maging unfair ang treatment ng mga international guests and speakears sa kanya.

Well, whatever! I don't need to be the owner of anything just to advance in  this kind of situations. That's way too pathetic. Style niya unfair! Sobrang unfair! 

Now I am seated in a table near the stage. Its a round table that has six chairs. Dito kasi na assign umupo ang representatives sa school namin and since I am one of those, obviously dito talaga ako uupo. The other three chairs probably are for the other university's representatives.

Pierce's POV

"Mechanical engineering is the discipline that applies engineering, physics, and materials science principles to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems."

Definition of the course. I can't wait for this people to talk about the relevant things involved in mechanical engineering. I want them to talk about cars, machines and else. Pero siguro mamaya maya pa yan.

Buti lang din at hindi ako sobrang late.  In fact, sa hotel ako natulog last night para sana sure na maaga akong makakarating to atleast get to know the speakers. Well, I guess being early isn't part of who I am. I woke up late kaya late din ako nakarating. 

Napansin ko rin na parang ini-examine nitong  kaklasi kong si Kurkova ang convention hall. Kanina pa niya nililibot ang mga mata niya na para bang hinuhusgahan niya ang lugar. I guess she is threatened now after seeing how truly great our hotel is! Their hotel is nothing compared to ours. 

Talking about business, naisip ko na naman ang gustong ipagawa sa akin ni Dad. Hindi ko pa rin maintindihan kung bakit yun pa sa lahat na pwede nilang ipa gawa. 

I want to help our company from it's problem. But not in that way.
