The sound of Arrow's heavy breathing and the loud sound of his paws digging into the wet earth silenced out the noise of Ivar and his horse following not to far behind them. Katla focused on the blur of trees they were passing, trying to get a sense of where they could be then all of a sudden Arrow came to a full stop.

Katla looked around at the strange place they were at. There was a perfect circle in the middle of the thicket of trees, she hopped down off her bear, looking down at the soft dirt squishing between her toes.

She turned to look at her bear but he had started to run off, panicking Katla started to follow him. He would never leave he somewhere she did not know. So why was he now?

The strong wind made the fabric of her white dress cling to her body, the silver and gold chains linking the dress together was cold against her bare skin. Katla didn't have much time to plan what she had to do because here came the man on the horse.

She instantly reached into the back of her dress where a small tare had been, gripping onto her small knife so hard her hand started to bleed only slightly.

The man studied her, looking around the location before sending the horse to walk forward. His eyes never leaving hers after making sure the huge bear wasnt in sight.

"You. Who are you? Do you know you are on my fathers land. The king."

His voice was different up close. Maybe it was because he didnt know her and he was being harsh. His hair blew in the wind once it picked up, causing his eyes to squint a little. Then his expression turned hard, his eyebrows knitting together and a scowl taking over his features.

"Did you hear me peasant. Your prince is talking to you and i suggest you apologize and answer me. Now!"

Then once again she could feel the coldness brush against her shoulders, but this time the smell that invaded her senses was like metal and iron. She could hear the deep voice whispering over her shoulder,

"Do not be intimidated by this man. Hold your ground. Be aggressive."

Then like that it was gone.

Katla took the voices advice, pushing her shoulders back from her slouching a little, holding her head high as she put on an annoyed expression. Clearly throwing the man off guard.

"King? What king? I do not have a king. And i sure as hell do not have a prince. And even if i did, you would never ever be it. Now i think you better go back to the other men before my friend shows back up."

He sat there on his horse, just staring right through me, so it felt like. It was a few minutes before he finally spoke, with a questioning tone.

"You are not from around here, i can tell. Because if you were you would know to never speak to me like that. I am Ivar, Ivar the boneless." I watched as a cocky smirk formed across his lips before he spoke again.

"Your friend im taking is that bear. You were riding it. Like a horse.. How?"

I remained silent, feeling the light brush of the cold air touching my shoulder every now and then, staying close. What ever it is, it has always been close. Helping me and telling me what i should do.

"Yes. His name is Arrow. And he is mine. Now i will be on my way and i would think since you are a prince and all that you will have the common decency to do the same." She was surprised my the sharpness of my tongue. Her eyes widening a little but she turned my back to him so he could not see.

But he would not have it. His horse quickly came back into view as their eyes met once more.

Nothing was said, he just stared at me like a weirdo. But she could not say much, because she was doing the same.

"You will come with me back to our kingdom. You live on our king's land, and if it is true about you not knowing then i have no choice but to bring you back, figure out where you came from. "

She watched as he extended one of his dirty hands out for my own, i hesitated a little while, scanning around the woods for my bear. Then my eyes locked with Arrow's. He was sitting just out of sight for Ivar, watching us carefully before he stood up and slowly walked deeper and deeper into the woods.

"Come on!!"

She quickly looked back at the man she know nows as Ivar before placing my hand in his own. Our skin tones fascinated me. He was tan, His skin would glisten in the suns rays and was a warm and inviting color. While mine was almost as pale as snow. Even though she has lived outside my whole life. But her skin would always remain a smooth color, same as the moon.

He lifted her up onto the horse easily as she finally gripped onto his waist, a lump formed in her throat once she felt him tense under her touch.
He motioned for the horse to go forward, as she looked behind her. Tears stinging her eyes a little as once again she could see her best friend sitting in the spot her and Ivar were just at with his head tilted to the side, watching.

Once Ivar's horse had come to a stop she opened her eyes, keeping them tightly shut her whole way here. He motioned for her to climb off and she did. A small grunt leaving her lips as she jumped off from the tall horse. She looked around at the small settlement. Many people have gathered around and were now looking at the strange girl with the man with no heart.

Ivar's firm grip found her elbow as he dragged her through the growing group of people, he struggled against his grip before a strange burst of energy coursed through her making her elbow come out of his grip with ease. He quickly printed forward trying to grab onto the girl as she fought against his grip every chance she got. The many people starting to laugh at the fight unrolling before them and other laughing at the small, beautiful girl beating the shit out of Ivar the boneless.

He gripped onto both of her wrists tightly, so tight that her hands started to turn purple as his eyes found her own, a strange glimmer appearing in them.

And before he knew it Katla drew her head back before slamming it forward, hitting him right in the nose. He let out a yell as the people around us hollered in approval, laughing and drinking while keeping their focus on the show in front of them.

"Ivar! What is the meaning of this? Why are you fighting a lady."

We both turned to the sound of a stern, feminine voice. The lady that emerged from crowd had long light brown hair that fell into delicate waves around her sharp cheek bones. Ivar held his nose as blood started to pour from it immediately.

"She attacked me mother!! She was in the woods riding a bloody bear!!"

Ivar's loud voice boomed around as the other towns people whispered to themselves. Looking at the girl with a whole different perspective.

Then the two men that were with Ivar came out from behind Ivar's mother. Looking at me with stern eyes.

"Yes. That is her. Bring her to see Ragnar. Now."

And with that the two men grabbed under my arms and took me to a large building in the middle of the village, bursting through the door as my eyes connected with a man's. He was sitting on a throne that had many skins from animals draped around it and on the floor. He had the same eyes as Ivar. But other than that he looked exactly like the Boy i seen in the woods with the blonde braided hair. He must be his father.

The man on the throne leaned forward, curious about the girl that took two of his sons to restrain and the other with a likely broken nose. The girl who supposedly rode in on a bear and was described from his sons to be the most beautiful girl in all the lands.

Ragnar agreed.

"Well well... Who do we have here?"
