chapter 18: A new start

Eisuke's pov
I watch her sleep as I hold her in my arms. Honestly, I feel so happy right now. I am never letting her go again.
No one knows how much pain I felt when I had to let her go. She had become such an inseparable part of my life that before I knew it I was in love with her....again.
Shizuka: Mmm....
She nuzzels her face in my chest while she is still in deep sleep.
I gently wrap my arms around her back and pull her close.

The next morning.
When I wake up she is not in the bed.
Tch, I am going to punish her for this.
I get out of the bed and find her brewing coffee in the kitchen.
Eisuke: Don't get out of the bed without my permission.
Shizuka: Huh..oh, good morning Eisuke but I was making coffee for you.
Eisuke: You may only leave when I tell you to, understand?
Shizuka: Hehe. Okay..

I pull her close again and kiss her. She wraps her arms around my neck and eagerly kisses me back.
Eisuke: Give me your left hand.
Shizuka: Ummm....okay?
I slip the platinum ring she gave me back on her ring finger and she looks at me bewildered.
Shizuka: Eisuke...this...!
Eisuke: Don't take it off ever again. It shows that you belong to me.
Shizuka: Yes!!
I pick her up and carry her to the bedroom again.
Shizuka: Eisuke....
She says as she lies in my arms.
Eisuke: yes?
Shizuka: Do you love me?
Eisuke: You think I'd ever go behind a woman whom I didn't love?
Shizuka: well no...but...you didn't say you loved me.....
(what is she going on about?)
Eisuke: What?
Shizuka: You only said stay with me. That answer isn't very reassuring you know....
Eisuke: Oh? Is that so?
Shizuka: Ye- mmmmmnn!
I grab her from behind and bury my face in her neck.
Eisuke: You were saying something ?
Shizuka: Not....like...this...Eisuke.
I start moving my hands all over her body and she is having a hard time in suppressing her moans.
Eisuke: Heh. Don't hold back.
Shizuka: Eisuke...aah!

I kiss her to shut her mouth and she immediately surrenders to my kiss.

We go downstairs to the penthouse lounge and are greeted by the usual crowd.
Baba: I am SO glad everything worked out in the end!
Soryu: Finally....
Ota: Oooh exes reunite. That is so cool. But we won't be able to make a move on Shizuka now.
Eisuke: Shut up ota.
I put my arms around her shoulders and glare at Ota.
Ota: Oh scary!! Baba! Eisuke is killing me with his eyes again!
Shizuka: Come on Eisuke...
Luke: Two perfect collarbone structures together.......
Shizuka: Uhh.....
Luke: I am so happy that sexy bones and Eisuke are back together. I am going to take both of your collarbones' xrays and frame them.

Yes, I still have to destroy that Ackerson. Shizuka doesn't know that he had a major contribution in Nikaido's plot and her kidnapping too.
I nod at him and he understands.
Shizuka looks at me suspiciously.

She asks me in a hushed tone. I thought she wouldn't notice. Damn, I forgot how sharp she is.
Eisuke: Nothing for you to worry about.
Shizuka: Why?
Eisuke: * sigh * You will know sooner or later so right now, butt out.
Shizuka: Ugh! Fine.
I can see her pouting from the corner of my eye and can't help but smile.
Shizuka: Anyways....I should leave for office now. See you later guys.
Baba: Later Shizuka!
Ota: Bye!
Eisuke: Come back here after work.
Shizuka: Huh? But all my things are at my house...and its not like we have a danger from Buccis now so...
I give her an irritated glare.
Eisuke: Is there a problem?
Soryu: You can't keep her traped here always. Maybe you forgot, but she has her own life to live.
Eisuke: Tch. What a pain.
Shizuka: You don't have to be so grump about it. I will come here and then go home at night. How about it?
Eisuke: * Sigh * You are never going to listen to me are you?
Shizuka: Hehe. Nope.
Eisuke: Well...it only gives me more chances to punish you.
I whisper in her ear and she gets red as a tomato.
