chapter 19: the story of us.

Shizuka's POV
After work I hurry back to the penthouse as fast as I can.
Shizuka: Eisuke!!
Eisuke: Tch, what are you shouting for?
Shizuka: Uh, sorry. I just wanted to talk about so many things that happened today and......
Eisuke: Yeah, your dad gave a real surprise now, didn't he?
Shizuka: So basically I was the only one who didn't know what was going on.
Eisuke: It appears that way.
Eisuke says, smirking at me.
Shizuka: I didn't know because you didn't tell me anything!
Eisuke: You could have found out youself.
Shizuka: Well yeah...but all that's been going on.... I wasn't really being myself.
Eisuke: It's been quite a ride.
Shizuka: Yeah. But most shockingly..Frank? I can't believe it! He wouldn't do something like this! There has to be a mistake.
I go on mumbling and look up to find Eisuke glaring at me.
Eisuke: You think I am sitting here to listen my girlfriend go on talking about another guy who got her kidnapped?
Shizuka: But he is my friend, Eisuke and I don't think that he would do something like this... at least to me..
Eisuke: How can you be so sure?
Shizuka: How? I mean he......
I trail off. I can't tell him ' because he asked me out' We already had a lot of drama over that on the boardwalk that day.
As I am lost in the thought I feel myself being pulled down on the couch.
Shizuka: Kyaah! E- Eisuke!?
Eisuke pulls me close and hugs me from behind.
Eisuke: Don't talk about any other man like that in front of me again.
Shizuka: What?
Eisuke: Did you already forget who you belong to?
Shizuka: Of course not....I was just saying that...
Eisuke: Hush.
Eisuke whispers in a husky tone and starts tracing my collarbone with his fingers.
Shizuka: Eisuke....
Eisuke: hmm?
Shizuka: we seriously need to talk about this.
Eisuke:*sigh* Fine.
He releases me and I sit beside him.
Shizuka: Well, what are we going to do?
Eisuke: It's simple, we go to London and crush that Ackerson.
Shizuka: Is there not any way to sort things out by... talking.
Eisuke: Did you forget who we are talking about? That scum is not worth talking.
Shizuka: I don't know what happened between you guys in highschool, but all I know is that he is not that bad as you are potraying him.
Eisuke: Who's side are you on exactly?
Shizuka: Of course yours!
Eisuke: Then this conversation is over.

I can see that Eisuke is getting more and more irritated by the second.
But I am not going to back off now.
Shizuka: This conversation is NOT over.
Eisuke: Look I am not in the mood to argue right now.
Shizuka: I am neither but I want to talk.
Eisuke: Go home tonight, driver will take you.
Shizuka: No way, I am not going anywhere. I need to sort things out right now!
Eisuke: What?
Shizuka: Tell me one thing. Do you love me or not?
Eisuke: Are you still going on about that ridiculous thing?
Shizuka: It's important for me! You told dad about our relationship today. But I want to hear it myself. I love you Eisuke and I want you to say this to me too!
Eisuke: Don't you already know how I feel?
Shizuka: I won't know unless you say so. I don't wanna be your playercard or anything!
Eisuke: Shizuka.... enough.
Shizuka: What?
The next thing I know is that Eisuke is carrying me (I mean slinging on his shoulder of course).
He throws me down on the bed and I sit up immediately still mad at him.
He sits down beside me and lets out an exasperated sigh.
Eisuke: What am I ever going to do with you?
Shizuka: Humph.
Eisuke: You have not changed one bit in 7 years you know. I still love you the way I did back then, actually even more now.
Shizuka: Well you haven't changed either- wait what? Did you Just say that you loved me?!
Eisuke: Tch. What if I did? What's the difference?
Shizuka: Oh my god...tell me again. Please.
Eisuke: You are a really bad girl. And bad girls get punished.
Shizuka: I don't care! I just want to hear it from you!
Eisuke: There is nothing special in those 3 words.
Shizuka: They are very special for me when they come from you Eisuke.
Eisuke: You are such a pain....but, I love you, Shizuka. Satisfied?
Shizuka: No, scream it to the world!

Okay I went too far but I am so happy right now!
Eisuke: What a greedy girl you are but I will grant your wish.
Shizuka: Huh?
Despite the pout on his face, Eisuke leans in closer and whispers in my ear in a sweet voice.
Eisuke: I love you, Shizuka. You are always going to be mine.
Shizuka: Eisuke...... I thought you were going to scream it to the world?
Eisuke: You are my world baby.
Shizuka: Eisuke......
I am practically on the verge of tears right now and he suddenly hugs me like I am the Last thing remaining in his world. And I eagerly hug him back, knowing that he is my world.
Eisuke: I love you more than I have ever found a way to say to you.
Shizuka: *sniff* Eisuke... Promise me, we will never be apart ever again.
Eisuke: I promise. I hate it when you cry....unless it's because of me of course.
I look at him and he has a wicked smile playing on his lips.
He pushes me down again and
*Ring ring *
Shizuka: Eisuke, your phone.
Eisuke: Tch, I'll see later.
Shizuka: It might be important!
Eisuke: Fine.
Visibly irritated, Eisuke grumpily picks up the phone.
Eisuke: Ichinomiya here. Yes, okay do it.
Huh? He hung up quickly...
Eisuke turns to me and for some reason is giving his trademark smirk.
Uh-oh, he usually does that when he is planning something evil.
Shizuka: W-what is it?
Eisuke: We are going to London.
Shizuka: Wait, what do you mean by 'we'?
Eisuke: Get your suitcase ready because we will be flying tomorrow morning.
Shizuka: Hey I need an explanation. Why are we leaving so suddenly? And what about  my work?
Eisuke: You'll see. And don't worry about your work. It is work.
Shizuka: Can you be a little more concrete?
Eisuke: * Sigh* Stop asking questions already. Do want to get punished so badly?
Shizuka: What the heck?! You are such a jerk Eisuke......
Eisuke: And you still love this jerk.
Shizuka: Ugh.
And so as usual Eisuke planned something ,and ......we are going to London? Well, the place holds so many memories of us...it's always gonna be special when I go there with Eisuke....wait, it's my first trip with Eisuke alone!!! Now I am looking forward to it...

Hey my fellow otome  freaks !!! I know it's been a loooong time since I last updated but I have one more bad news. I won't be able to update this book until the 3rd week of March for....reasons. Then this book will be updated regularly like before.
ALSO, I already have a voltage Inc one shots book ready in drafts which will be released on 25th of March 2018.
And I want to ask your opinion on this..., Actually this book is not the one I wanted to publish originally. I had another Eisuke Ichinomiya fanfic or I should say, I had written the original ' heart wants what it wants' a long time ago and the plot was totally different from this one.  The MC's  character and the background was same as from this book. Even all the names were same but the story differed drastically.  I read my old fanfic recently ( it was  very nostalgic) and  In myopinion that one was better than this because MC was a bit more sassy and they fought a lot( Eisuke and Shizuka)  and she didn't even get sold there. So I wanted to ask you that should I release the ' ALTERNATE VERSION' Of heart wants what it wants?  As my lovely readers please let me know in the comments section below because I really want to share the original one with you. Lol.
Yeah and btw, sorry for making you people wait, but....please Wait a little more. *Laughs awkwardly*
