I envy the moon.
The world spends most of the time watching the sun.
But just needs a few minutes
To fall in love with the moon.
I envy the moon.
Because every night she can keep you warm
Without the needing to touch you,
And yet still you adore
The white brilliant Madame.
I envy the moon
Because even that tasteless
It is the muse of many poets
And solace of many maidens.
I envy the moon
Because even alone and distant
She irradiates serenity
To the whole humanity.
I just envy the moon.
