"You never told me you had a cousin"i looked at Drew,we laid beside each other working on our tan on the beach"i have cousins" "you know who am talking about",he paused then looked at me..."you ve met him" "yes,hes a pretty cool guy,why didnt you invite him over to the beach with us?" was that a pulsing vein?"he doesnt like to socialize" "True...maybe his girlfriend would break him in",i felt his jaw tense....was it about the girlfriend or the breaking?...Drew has been my friend like forever and i still didnt get him sometimes....i didnt get to think as my friends who had been playing in the water,screamed,it was a good scream so i didnt panic....i looked as Keane sauntered on the sand towards us,he looked good on his t-shirt and shorts...everything spelt HOT....and i missed him..but i was furious with him for deserting me this long,i glanced at Drew and he was glaring at Keane,as usual...Keane seemed to be looking at him also,i stood up and went to kiss keane"hey babe",he lifted me up with my ass,i slapped his hands off..."why didnt you tell me you were back?" "claire told me you were here..."i looked at her,she waved"wanted to give you a surprise,did it work?",he pulled me to him"i missed you",he kissed me,and i showed him how much it worked...we heard a movement,Drew d gotten up and was walking away,i looked back to keane but he seemed oddly interested in that..."give me a min will you",he followed Drew who seemed to be walking farther away from the group....what was between these two guys....,well i wasnt going to let this slide or wait to ask keane later what it was all about......Drew turned and they began arguing...i moved among the people so they didnt see me,finally hit behind a tree....did they sense my presence or what cos they moved away,out of hearing..i moved in still and ducked behind a pile of woods...i heard..."....what the hell were you thinking interfering with my food?",Keane......that was after Drew d blasted obcenities at him...they were glaring at each other head on..."she is not your food...go look for any other bitch to play around with"Drew said,every word laced with venom,Keane smirked "you like her?"he sounded like it was impossible for Drew to like anyone...was it"im not gonna tell you if i like her or not,that is no damn business of yours...just stay away",the cynical smirk was still planted on Keane's face,he looked almost demonic with it..okay he looked demonic with it....wait were they fighting over a girl...was that what this was about?..."i dont take orders"keane said"oh really...then you have me to contend with if i perceive your smell on her",they had a battle of stare down...."fine...but till i find someone more appealing..."he whispered that so i almost didnt hear it"you shouldnt be serious about that..." "with my life..."a pause"ive been assigned to protect her....and you dont wanna mess with me" "you really think im scared of you?" why did keane suddenly sound like a schoolboy that he was"besides,i guess she wants me,she wont be too hard to convince..i always do...",Drew looked even more calm than usual"stay away...i did warn you",he was walking away back towards where we were..."well im back to town and hope to remain....bring it",Drew stopped then looked at him"thats dangerous Scott,i never back out on a challenge"....now i had one thing settled,two things actually,it was about a girl,and that girl wasnt me...what was her name,they never mentioned her name throughout the conversation,who was she,i had to find out..if Keane was cheating on me and Drew knew...it wasnt even about me..it was more like something else was involved here....did Drew like a girl? and...shaking my head i walked out from my hiding and walked to keane,he didnt seem fazed,like he anticipated me "are you cheating on me?"yea like he d say yes,him and Drew exchanged gazes,i thought Drew d leave or rather tell me that the bastard was and that i should ditch him now that i had a chance...."no...hes messing with one of my friends,shes been complaining to me bitterly..i had to warn him"he said,was that a relieved look keane threw him,..then his icy look was back"thanks Drew..but i think i know how to handle my girlfriend"he bit out icily,Drew looked at him,then with a glance at me he walked away"what the hell was that?
