Oliver's phone ringing pulled us out of a cozy sleep this morning.
"Who the hell is calling you this early in the morning?" I asked into his side.
He grunted in response and grabbed his phone, answering it as he did.
"Hello?" He said groggily.
I swear his morning voice will never get old.
He sat up slowly, a confused expression settled on his face. I pulled my face out of his side and sat up, staring at him as he talked into his phone.
"What?" He said as I turned my body toward him and put my hand on his leg to comfort him.
The distraught expression on his face made my heart rate quicken a bit in a slight panic.
"O-okay, well I'll be there." He said slowly.
I rubbed my thumb against his leg as he took in a deep breath, "I can take someone with me right?"
He paused for a moment, "Okay, I'll see you there then."
He hung up the phone and slowly lowered it onto his lap.
I hesitated for a second, "Who was it?" I asked him quietly.
"Matt. He uh told a few of my other family members about how I've been talking to him and they want me to um go to my mom's house Sunday night." He said, staring at the wall.
I grabbed his hand gently, "Are you okay?"
He nodded his head as a sheepish expression made its way onto his face, "Could you um come with me?"
I chuckled at his nervous expression, "Of course Oliver, I'm intrigued by who you came from." I said in an attempt to lighten the mood.
He cracked a small smile, "Ha ha so funny."
I let out a small laugh, "I know."
"So it's four thirty and I don't think I'll be falling asleep anytime soon, what about you?" He asked with a lopsided smile.
"Me either. I'm gonna go get ready and look nicer today since I have time." I said as I stood up and stretched out my stiff muscles.
"I'll be back in a little bit." I said with a sweet smile.
"Okay." He said with a chuckle as I left the room.
I went into my room and took a long, hot shower and then went to my closet to get ready.
I decided to wear a white tube top, black and white striped pants, and a yellow jean jacket with some yellow platform converse.
Once I was dressed, I decided to let my hair dry the rest of the way and do my makeup.
I put on a little bit of concealer, eyebrows, winged eyeliner, mascara, some highlighter, and clear lipgloss.
By the time I got all of that done, my hair was mostly dry, so I put it into two half up, half down Dutch braids on each side of my head.
