***Maggie's POV***

I was on my flight to New York, I was moving there with my dad.

I was going to miss Cara, Brandon and Mom a lot. I felt like crying, I pulled out a picture from my wallet, it was a picture of our family, or what it was...

Flashback

I had just come back from my shopping trip with Christina. I walke to the kitchen to grab a snack where I saw my mum crying, holding a picture of Brandon. When she saw me standing there she came up to me wrapped her arms around me and started sobbing on to my shoulder.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Brandon was in a bomb blast" she said, pulling back.

I was dumb struck, I didn't know what to do I didn't know what to say...

End Of Flashback

Brandon lost his legs in the blast, and with that his pride. he stopped talking to us and even though he could come back home he chose not to.

Two months after the blast mom and dad broke up.

They decided that Cara would stay with mum and I would stay with dad in New York.

I put on my headphones, not wanting to think about it, and got lost in the music...

Few hours later the plane landed. I picked up my bag and walked out breathing in the New York air. I looked around, searching for my father, instead I found a tall man wit a sweet smile holding a board with my name written on it. I walked to him, he saw me and smiled even brighter. He came towards me and thrust his hand out, "My name's Robin", he said, with a British accent, "You must be the beautiful Ms.Stone". I blushed letting my hair call onto my face.

I tucked some hair behind my ear and asked him,"Where's my father?", Robin's smile turned to a frown, "He told me to pick you up because he a an important meeting to attend. I smirked, "Yeah much more important than me".

Ignoring what I said Robin took the bags from my hands and I followed him to the car.

I slept of in the car. I had been to New York before with my mother for one of her fashion shows, we had gone for a week so I explored New York a lot that time.

One hour later we arrived. The place where my dad lived was a tall skyscraper.

Robin held the door open for me and then led me to the elevator.

After getting into the elevator he pulled out a key from his pocket and slid it into the key hole and twisted it, we started going up.

We reached our floor and the doors opened. I stepped out and looked around, the house had a very warm feeling. There were dim lights comfy looking couches, plants, beautiful paintings of beaches, night sky's, the windows were floor to sealing and since the sun was just setting it looked beautiful.

"I'll go down and get your bags, and you should look around it's your house anyway". Robin said as the doors shut.

I stood in front of the window and looked down and felt a lurching feeling in my stomach.

"The view is beautiful isn't it?" a voice came from behind me.

I turned around and said, "Hi dad".
