It was Friday which meant another basketball game for the guys I walked into first period sitting in my normal seat in the back corner melo coming in shortly after he sat he looked uneasy like he had something on his mind "my mans is you good" I slightly laughed tryna lighten his mood he just looked at me and rolled his eyes was he mad at me shiii better not be I ain't do shiii

The bell rung we didn't talk all of class I kinda felt bad and I don't even know what I did "yo are you okay" liyah asked as we walked to the gym I wasn't gonna bring it up I'm sure it's not important we sat on the bleachers the boys playing ball "so y'all going to the game tonight" nique asked I didn't say anything I just shrugged "yo wtf is her problem" nique whispers to liyah who shrugged also "I'm fine y'all aint nothing wrong wit me" I said "nah bruh something happen first period" she asked "well I think melo is mad at me" I confessed "wtf for why" liyah asked confused

"Idek he rolled his eyes at me and we didn't talk at all" I said "awe she mad cause her man won't talk to her" nique chuckled I rolled my eyes "girl maybe he just tryna focus on the game tonight it's nothing" liyah assured me "that's what you get for not claiming him girl you brought this to ya self fr" nique said

"Yo chill out why you being so rude" liyah said "nah she right but idek if that is what he is mad about tho" I said we talked some more and the bell rung the boys left and then we did we sat at the table I sat with melo to my left and liyah to my right

Everyone was talking amongst themselves I was just quiet not saying anything neither was melo that caused don to give me a confused look "yo lani you good" he asked i just looked at him he then looked at melo then back to me then to melo "wait are y'all good something happen" he asked everyone at the table to looked at us "yeah why aint y'all talking" Eli asked melo groaned and rolled his eyes "can y'all just let it go plz" he said "nah bruh lani look sad wtf you do?" Don asked getting all defensive "don chill out it's nothing" I said melo stormed off immediately after I said that I went after him

"Melo come back" I called for him as he kept walking farther infront of me I finally jogged a little getting infront of him stopping him "what is wrong with you today?" I asked "I'm done playing Leilani it's a waste of my time" he said I  looked at him confused I thought he was joking "boy stop playing" I said and pulled him to me trying to kiss him he put his hand in my face "yo don't try and kiss me" he said "wtf why" I asked confused he slightly pushed me back "I'm done playing lani you only mess wit me when it's just us but in front of everyone you be mad rude and act like you don't like me" he confessed

"Melo we've been over this already we said we was gonna keep it on the low" I said "no I'm tired of you using me" he said I was taken back did he really just say that "alright what we're not gonna do is sit here and lie and say I'm using you when I'm not if your mad about something take that somewhere else don't blame me" I said irritated he tryna lie rn "who payed for that shirt you got on tho" he said rudely all the times of last year and how he treated me were coming back in my memory and why I stopped liking him "I NEVER ASKED YOU TO PAY FOR THIS SHIT YO ASS CHOSE TOO" I yelled "don't try and hold me accountable for shit you chose to do I will gladly give everything back if u want I don't care I tried to buy my stuff I don't need no nigga too tf" I said

He just stood there rolling his eyes "you know I thought you were different fr thought you wasn't gonna use me but your just like the rest cheating lying hoes just like Ciara" he said he looked like he meant it too that hurt "don't you ever compare me to that bitch and call me a hoe I've never done you wrong what are you even saying rn" I said "bro just leave I'm done" he said "your really in your feelings rn just because I wouldn't call you my boyfriend melo are you kidding me you used to treat me like I was nothing don't come at me with that" I said

"Leilani I don't wanna talk right now fr just leave me alone" he said "fine but I was just tryna see why you were mad at me but your really just mad about something and tryna take it out on me not today nigga I don't have the time" I said about to leave "don't try and make it seem like your all good your the one treating me like I'm some side but weren't you the one complaining about being a side" he said getting in my face

"A side melo are you dumb my nigga who tf else do I talk to for you to be a side you know I like you everyone does why are you tryna get mad over some bullshit rn" I said "I'm not gonna sit here and argue with you I just need to go think about this" he said "nigga ain't nothing to think about you said your done so we done period fuck you lamelo" I said "lani..."he said he looked hurt he tried to grab me he tryna act hurt after disrespecting my shit hell nah "don't even try it lamelo" I said moving away from him and walking away

I left back to the cafeteria I was mad asf but low key sad asf too I went and grabbed my stuff "lani are you okay what happened" don asked he tried to hug me I just pushed past him

I was leaving again but melo was coming back we passed each other we made eye contact he looked like he was about to say something but I didn't wanna hear anything from him I left to the bathroom

DON POV

"Yo wtf happed between them" I asked liyah as Leilani stormed off "idk this morning she said something bout melo not talking to her and being mad at her" she said melo came and sat back at the table "yo wtf bro what did you do to her" I asked angry "it's none of your business bro leave it alone" he said "when it comes to Leilani it's my fucking business now what did you do" I said "My nigga she over there crying because of some shit you said and you don't even feel bad your fucked up" I said I told nique and liyah to go find her melo got another thing coming the other guys were all confused wtf happened they were good like 2 days ago

LANI POV

I was fixing my hair and stuff in the bathroom and in walked nique and liyah "hey girl what happened" she asked I just shook my head he really called me a hoe and just like Ciara out of no where I hadn't done anything wrong to him "he called me a hoe and claimed that I used his punk ass" I said I wasn't even sad anymore I was pissed tf off he just disrespected me like that "a hoe oh hell nah he gone catch this mf fade" nique said tryna walk out the bathroom I pulled her back laughing "girl chill out I don't even care fuck him" I said "what else he say" nique asked

"He said that I'm treating him like he is a side and that I'm like Ciara" I said "he sound bout dumb as hell" liyah said I just ranted some more to them until the late bell rang for class and we all left
