Today was the first basketball game of the season I was excited the games were always mad valid but I was even more excited bout my sleepover party I was having tomorrow night

I was driving to school with the girls "so you finna tell us what all that banging was wit you and melo last night" liyah smirked me rolling my eyes "girl it was nothin like that relax we was just play fighting" I said "you beat his ass?you better have" nique asked "nah son he beat tf outta me fr" I laughed "y'all always on me and melo what bout nique and quan" I said "oh yeahhhh bitch spill the MF tea" liyah laughed slightly pushing her "girl it ain't nothing we talk sometimes but barely" she said sounding irritated

We arrived at school meeting up at the usual spot aka my locker me seeing the boys in there warm up suits they had to wear to school on game days they was nice asf we was all just talking and stuff the bell rang and we went to first period I was doing my work til "psst" melo whispered me ignoring him "girl I know you hear me" he said I looked at him "what melo" I groaned "alright ain't no need for all of dat don't act like you don't like me" he said annoyed but he the one tryna talk to me "so let's make an agreement you don't have to wear my actually jersey just one of my practice shirts you down?" He asked "do I really have a choice" I asked "nope" he smiled going back to doing his work

We was all eating and stuff the guys talking bout who they was finna cross up on the other team the amount of points they getting tonight just stuff I didn't care about so I was talking to nique and liyah til Ciara and amara came over to the table she tapped melo in the shoulder he seen her and rolled his eyes "so you like wanna hang out after yo game or something" she asked "no tf I got plans already" he scoffed "oh with who?" She asked "girl mind ya business move yo hoe ass away from me bruh" he said I quietly laughed

But I guess she heard cause "bitch wtf is funny to you" she asked I ain't respond to her "ole weak bitch" she said "alright what we not finna do is call me out my mf name" I said "bitch imma call you whatever tf I want you ain't important" she laughed I rolled my eyes "ya hairdresser don't think you important either giving you that stiff ass hair better stop talking crazy to me or homies we gone have a problem"  I said everyone laughing at her

"You ain't ain't have to cook her like that lani" Eli yelled laughing  she got in my face "let's make it a problem then" she said and shoved me I almost fell back "don't put ya hands on me bruh you don't know what I'm about" I warned getting up in her face back "Ciara and ya Lil weak friend need to leave fr" nique said "bitch I ain't weak tf" amara said nique ignored and rolled her eyes

"Lani chill out bruh just let it go" don said standing in between so I wouldn't swing at her "I'm cool nigga I don't let lil thot bitches hurt my mf feelings" I said she rolled her eyes cause she wasn't getting the reaction she wanted this bitch really wanted to fight me over a nigga that tell her everyday he don't like her like bitch have some self respect damn he ain't worried bout you "don't come back over here ugly bitch" nique said Ciara flipping her off walking back to her table

8th period just ended and everyone was making there way to the gym I sat at the top with nique,liyah,iris, and some other friends the room went dim and the principal started talking then I just wanna party by yg started playing nique dumbass got up and started dancing and rapping I was dying snap chatting her

"Introducing the boys varsity basketball team" he said the boys came out one by one as there name was called he talked some more the pep rally ended and nique and I met up with the boys by the locker room "hey y'all" I said seeing them all come out

"Hey babe" melo said handing me his shirt putting his arm around me "nigga how many times am I gone tell you I ain't ya mf girlfriend" I said he rolled his eyes "lani stop playing my boy" quan laughed "I ain't playing nobody" I said "alright then prove it and kiss me right here" melo said the boys hyping him saying yeah do it I moved his arm off of me

"No i don't gotta prove nothing to nobody tf" I said "alright so you playing me then" he laughed I became irritated "bro fuck this and you take ya shit" I said tossing the shirt back to him and walking off with nique ignoring his calls for me to come back me hearing some the guys telling melo he fucked up

We hopped in the car I seen them coming towards us I blasted want her by dj mustard and I sped off before they got too close "girl wtf was that back there?" Nique asked "niggas think I gotta prove shit to them" I said "alright but it was just a simple kiss what's the big deal" she asked "he know why I act the way I do towards him so for him to say I'm playing him is mad annoying when I'm not" I said "but you ain't have to od it and throw his shirt back at him like that" she said she was right it wasn't that big of a deal

"Girl who side are you on right now" I said "the side who isn't scared to show there fucking feelings lani" she said sounding irritated "how tf you expect me to act you know what happened with josh sorry I'm keeping my guard up" I said "I understand that but what bad thing has he done to you" she said is this bitch serious rn "HE WAS RUDE ASF TO ME LAST YEAR NIQUE WTF" I said "that's the past I'm talking bout now what has he done to you lani other than be nothing but nice" she said slightly raising her voice at me

"Man whatever can we talk bout something else" I said her rolling her eyes at me I sighed and pulled into my house getting out the car her following me inside I then got a text

I didn't reply after that I was mad because he tried to make me prove to his friends I wasn't playing him by me kissing him when I don't understand how that solves anything and I shouldn't have to prove nothing to his friends if it's our business simple as that but me and nique was just chilling on my bed it was around 5 now the game started at 7
