MELO POV

We was leaving the school to go eat then come back for the game but I was texting lani tryna figure out what I said that was so wrong she said she don't know if she mad at me wtf "yo wtf man she said she don't know" I said irritated while reading the text over and over again "lmfao she wild bruh females love to fight with they niggas for no serious reason" quan laughed "nah you just don't know her and why she mad" don said "oh and you know why" he scoffed "yeah nigga she mad cause this dumb nigga melo tryna make their shit everyone business" don said I rolled my eyes

"You sound dumb as hell my guy" I said confused "alright don't believe me then" he said I just continued to try and get her to tell me why but she left me on read we finished eating or whatever and I was finna head home and grab some stuff but I drove past her house but I stopped backing up "Melo tf are you doing son?" Don asked "imma go talk to her" I said going to knock on the door her mom answered "oh hi can I help you" she smiled "uh yeah is Leilani here by any chance" I asked kinda nervous she wasn't gonna let come in she looked like the really strict type

"Oh yeah your lamelo right?" She asked how tf she know me "yes ma'am thats me" I said she smiled "well nice to finally meet you Leilani doesn't shut up about you" she said I laughed a little "I hope they are good things" I said blushing a little "yes of course come in she is upstairs" she said she let me in about to close the door then "HEY BIANCA" don yelled waving from the car "don Lil boy wtf I tell you bout calling me by my first name nigga imma tell yo momma one of these days" she said I was quietly laughing the way she talked just changed in like .25 seconds

She let me in fully and closed the door I went upstairs and knocked on Leilani door

LANI POV

There was a knock on my door me and nique looked at each other confused cause nobody in my house knock on doors when they come into rooms "uh come in" I said and in walked lamelo I became irritated he looked at me then at his shirt he was holding I rolled my eyes nique was about to getting up tryna leave "girl you don't gotta leave whatever he got to say will be quick asf" I said rudely she smacked her lips and slappped my hand off "stop being like that and talk to him I'm leaving I'll see you at the game" she said picking her stuff and leaving closing the door

"What do you need lamelo?" I asked annoyed "I'm just tryna figure out what I did wrong and why your mad at me" he said "I told you idk" I said "then how tf am I supposed to fix it if ur mad for no reason" he said seeming quite irritated with me "actually... I'm mad because you wanna make our business what were doing your friends business why can't we keep it on the low" I raised my voice "your saying my friends like they ain't yours too and how are you keeping it on the low oh actually I know by acting like you don't fw me in front of ya friends huh" he said "melo just forget it" I said he looked me like bitch really

"So are you done being fake mad" he said walking over to me I rolled my eyes "you needa stop with that ion like it" he said wrapping his arms around me "I don't care melo move" I said "nah not until you agree to wear my shirt to the game" he smirked "I'm not going" I said "stfu yes you are matter fact I gotta leave rn for it so let's go put on the shirt" he said giving it to me "leave without me I gotta shower anyways" I said just giving into him he smiled knowing he got what he wanted

"Nah u smell good asf u straight we can leave rn" he said I got up putting my shoes and changing into the shirt brushing my hair grabbing phone and lipgloss and leaving downstairs I told my mom my plans and left I seen don in the passenger seat "please don't tell me you the reason this nigga came to my house" I said about to get in the back "hell nah I was confused when he pulled up here" he said melo looked at don weird "aye my nigga you gotta get in the back" he said "damn give her a sec that's what she doing" don said

"No nigga I mean you get in the back" melo laughed pointing at him don started looking around tryna find who melo was pointing too I was dying "melo it's fine I can sit in the back" I said "nah don fr move" he said don scoffed getting out and going in the back I got in the front still laughing as we were driving I started snapping don cause he looked mad asf sitting in the back

We arrived at the game don left somewhere and there was already mad people here but this is normal for chino hill basketball games all his little fans were screaming for him to take a picture but he couldn't he had to go change "aye there go my fam and Aaliyah go say hi to my moms I'll see you after the game" he said tryna run away I pulled him back "nigga I am not meeting yo momma" I said low key scared he looked at me confused "why not?" He asked "we are not dating that's doing too much" I chuckled "here we go again" he rolled his eyes "she ain't gone hate you just go say hi and that's it" he kissed my cheek and ran to the locker rooms

I made my way over to nique and liyah "ooouu look at ole sis reppin her man" liyah laughed poking me me also laughing smacking her hands away "girl stop you know we ain't together" I laughed I said hi to the rest of the girls I seen gelo right next to them "hey gelo haven't seen you in a grip nigga where you been?" I asked dapping him up

"Just been chilling fr" he said then zo extra tall ass was sitting next to him "LANI!" He yelled "you just had to bring this nba wanna be big headed ass nigga with you my guy" I said looking at gelo like bitch really he smacked his lips "she stay always tryna cook somebody girl look at you" he laughed tugging at my shirt zo was my fav ball brother he was always defending me when melo was mad rude for no reason he was really my son

"But I hear melo finally came to his senses" he smirked at me I hit him "stop it gelo get your brother" I laughed there mom was staring at me the whole time I smiled at her I reached my hand out for her to shake it "hi I'm Leilani" I said she smiled wide at me "I figured you really are so cute like melo said he talks non stop about you" she said I smiled "I hope there all good things" I said "oh yes of course" she said i smiled and waved at Lavar also he gave me a hug I was surprised

The game was about to start the boys were coming out til "MELO SON" lavar yelled then pointing at me and giving him a thumbs up I slightly laughed and melo winked at me the game started it was so lit in here everyone was cheering when the boys would score lavar was yelling at the refs per usual the boys were winning but the other team was close don shot a three and the crowd went wild
