Kira's POV
I woke up wrapped in Soul's muscular arms, my hair a mess, sore in a place I hadn't ever been sore before, but smiling happily at the man sleeping next to me, dreaming away. I ran my hand over his cheek, and his smile widened. He blinked open his eyes, his hand moving to cover mine.
"Good morning," Soul whispered. I grinned at him. "Good morning," I replied. The blankets were covering us up to our shoulders, and the pillows were strewn around the room. "I have a mess to clean up now, Soul, thank you." I giggled. He chuckled and pressed his lips to mine, holding me tighter.
Soul rolled so I was under him and he was on top of me. "I love you, Kira." He whispered into my ear. I nibbled gently on his jaw before saying, "I love you too, Soul." I felt my heart swell when Soul looked me in the eyes.
"Uh, ew!" A feminine voice shouted beside the bed. Soul jumped out of his skin and fell off the bed, bringing the blanket with him. I managed to cover my body with pillows. I was laughing my ass off. "Arika! You can't do that." I laughed. Soul looked up at her guiltily, wrapping the blanket around his waist.
Arika shook her head in disgust. "You know, I was stuck in your head while you guys were doing it!" She yelled. "Ugh. I'm mentally and emtionally scarred for the rest of my life." Arika turned her gaze to him. "But, let me just tell you, I do not regret the view I got of your chest, Soul. Not even kidding."
Soul turned scarlet, and I wrapped my arms around his neck. "Arika, could you leave us so we can get dressed?" I asked politely. She scoffed and stood up. "Or go for round two," She muttered under her breath. Soul and I laughed, and Arika left.
I kissed Soul's shoulder. "You know, Arika's idea doesn't sound too bad right now." Soul said, climbing back in bed with me. I laughed sarcastically. "Yeah! I'm about to leave on a trip, gonna have to walk a hell of a lot! Let's go for round two."
Soul suddenly looked hurt, and I gasped. "Soul-- I'm sorry. That was such a bitch move." I said, pushing myself out of bed. Soul sat still when I opened the door, but followed me into the bathroom.
I turned on the water in the shower when Soul turned me around. He picked me up and sat me on the counter, kicking the door shut. I looked at him curiously. "Wanna conserve water? Maybe I'll slip again..." He muttered as he pressed his lips down my neck and to my collarbone. I chuckled breathlessly.
"You're not gonna stand a chance if I stay on the counter."

An hour later, with no mishaps or slipping in the shower, I was packing a few essential things with the help of Soul. Arika had already packed, and she was waiting downstairs. I zipped up my suitcase and Soul wrapped me in an embrace.
"Please be careful, Kira. I love you so much, and I don't know what I'd do if I lost you again." He murmured, pulling away from me and playing with a lock of my hair. I smiled and nodded. "Go to the Death Room every night at nine. I'll definitely be talking to him by then. We could talk then, alright?" I told him, kissing his jaw. He chuckled and nodded. "Now go, before I decide to keep you here forever."
I nodded, grabbed my suitcase, and jogged downstairs. I needed to leave before I could change my mind. "Let's go." I told Arika. She nodded and smiled sympathetically. We started outside, and I had Arika transform into a car. She laughed at me and teased me about being sore, but morphed all the same.
It would easily take an hour in a car, so there was no way I was walking on foot.

I felt like I was being dropped, then hit the ground on my back. Arika was shaking on the ground in front of me, and I ran to her. Because I'd fallen asleep, she didn't want to wake me up and morph back.
