Y/n was walking and smirking her way to Divintation. She was feeling good today and she could feel it. Professor Blake stopped his lesson and glared at her. She felt everyone's gaze and a boy named Tom Riddle's.
"Late again, Miss. L/n?" He said sternly. She only smirked and sat down. The whole lesson was a blur and she did pass her O.W.Ls. She then collided with none other than Tom Riddle.
"Watch where your going!" She said and glared at him. He looked at her coldly.
"I happen to be Headboy of your house Miss. L/n. Do you want me to take away some house points?" He asked her and she shook her head.
"Then get to class." He said and left. She then arrived in potions. She sat there and waited for Professor Slughorn to make his entrance.
"Good afternoon class. Today's assignment is making Anmortentia. I will assign your partners." He said and read off his list. I felt my heart stop as he said:
Tom Riddle and Y/n L/n.
I looked at Tom and he smirked. I gathered my things and sat next to him.
"Now, does anyone know what Anmortentia does to the drinker?" He asked, Tom's and Y/n's hand were in the air already.
"Aright Miss. L/n what does it do." He said.
"Sir, it does not make the person fall in love only make them influenced or obsessed with that person. You can also smell your admire in your potion. For instance I smell, Some type of calone, parchment, and mint." She said and blushed. Tom looked at her. Out of curiosity and cockiness.
"Alright everybody lets get started." He said and Y/n and Tom got started with their potion. A couple of minutes later they were both finished.
"Very good. Congratulations Tom and Y/n you just won yourselves a potion called Felix Flises." He said and handed Tom the potion. Y/n ran out of the classroom and into the Slytherin dormitory. Tom soon came in as she sits in the sofa. Tom looked at her. She was just watching the fire. She then looked up at Tom and smirked.
"Here to take away house points again, Riddle?" She asked. Tom got angry.
"Shut it. L/n." He said. Y/n just chuckled and exited the common room. She ran through the halls unaware of certain cold eyes watching her every movement. She went outside and into the Owlry. She then tied her letter to her father on an owl. The owl flew away and Y/n just watched it fly. Tom came in and watched.
"I know your there Tom. You can stop playing hide and seek." She said. Tom got out of his hiding place and watched.
"What are you doing?" Tom asked, she looked at him.
"I'm sending an owl to my dad." She said. Her father was currently in St. Mugos, a wizarding hospital. He suffered from a stroke. She had tears in her eyes. She went to a windowsill. She held her breath and exhaled harshly. She then began to sob. Tom just stood there, acting like an idiot. He had no idea how to comfort a girl. He then went up to her and hugged her awkwardly. She hugged back. He tears made his robe wet but he could care less. He looked at her and she looked at him. She then looked outside with Tom still starring at her.
"The Stars are beautiful tonight." She said breathlessly. He then looked at the stars. She was right, they were. But then he looked back at her. 'But not as beautiful as you, my darling.' He said in his head. She then took the courage and kissed him. He kissed back. 'What is going on?' She asked herself. Y/n broke the kiss and ran away. Guess tonight the new part of her shown.
