Do note that I will be using Elena and Katherine from The Vampire Diaries.
Tom was watching as Elena was talking to her friends. Laughing as she spoke to them. He liked that she changed a little. Her hair had red streaks falling with her curls. After school Tom took a walk since he was Prefect. He heard two girl voices. He hid behind the corner and watched. He saw Elena and an unknown girl. They both looked the same.
"Do you ever stop crying?" The twin asked, rounding her. Elena was sitting and she was crying.
"It was a mistake, I could do better."
"No you won't, your a vampire. Soon you'll do it again and again. Once you do you'll become like me. You'll take and take. I bet Stefen will see a difference in you." The twin said.
"Shut up." Elena said. The twin chuckled evilly.
"Shut up." Elena said and ran to her. The twin disappeared and Elena put her hands to her head. Tom got out of the corner and approached Elena.
"What are you doing up at this time?" She looked up at him.
"I-I-I'm sorry." She said and left. Once she did Tom went back to patrolling.
"Hello handsome." A voice said and Tom turned to find a girl that looked exactly like Elena.
"What are you doing? I thought I told you to leave." She smirked.
"Oh don't worry I will, Tom." She said and went closer to him.
"Do you know that your really cute." She said and she was about to kiss him until Tom held up a finger to her lips. Tom leaned down to her ear.
"I know what your doing and it won't work, Elena." She smirked as soon as she heard him say Elena. Tom knew she wasn't Elena, because of the hair. He was just playing along.
"I'm not Elena sweetheart. My name is Katherine Pierce. I'm gonna enjoy sucking your blood." She said and smiled, which had her fangs out. Tom didn't do anything, but a voice stopped her from biting him.
"Get away from him, Katherine!" Yelled Elena as she ran to her. They both fought, Tom watched amused.
"Why? Afraid I might take him, like I did to Damon?" She said and cackled. Elena slapped her.
"Leave me and Tom alone. Go bother someone else. Since that is what you are good at." Elena said and dragged Tom away with her. They both heard Katherine scoff and disappear.
"So your a vampire?" Tom questioned looking her.
"Don't ask." She said and dragged them to a balcony close to the astronomy tower. She looked at the view as she rubbed her ring. Tom watched amused as to why she saved him.
"Thank.........you, Elena for saving me back there." Tom said and stood next to her. Elena looked at him out of the corner of her eye.
"Your welcome. She's a real pain lately."
"What happened when you made a simple mistake."
"I...................I killed someone. It's not like me to do that. She just..........made me mad and I did that without knowing. I just did it. It felt............dark." She said and Tom looked at her. She was interesting to him. She caught him starring.
"Hey, are you okay? You kinda........zoned out on me." She said chuckling. He smirked at her chuckles.
"Show me you vampire teeth." He said and she looked at him, confused.
"Why?"
"Just do it, I might think you will look pretty." He said and she blushed a little. Elena hissed with her fangs out. Tom clapped and smiled. She blushed.
"For the record you look beautiful with or without your fangs." He said. Tom was gonna take those words back.
"Thanks. I think your really cute." She said and instantly took those words back. Tom chuckled. Tom looked at her and she starred back. Those hazel eyes starring into his cold blue eyes. Tom leaned forward and so did Elena. Their lips met and they pulled away. Elena was Tom's first kiss, and Tom's was Elena's first kiss.
"Okay, I'll see you tomorrow, bye Tom." She said and kissed his cheek. He watched as she walked away. What did this mean for him? Why was he feeling this way? 'No! I am Tom Riddle. I do not love.' He thought and walked back to his dormitory.
