As we started walking to the elevator, I ask Cress how she would feel about cutting this 'See the World' trip shorter than we were planning too as we reached the elevator door and it opened.

"It would depend on the reason, so why would you want to cut the trip shorter, Captain? Are you not having fun with your wife?"

"What kinda question is that, Crescent? Of course I am having fun with you! I just have a strange gut feeling that's saying we need to get home."We reached our floor.

Cress was instantly serious, "what kinda feeling is it? Good or bad? Should we try and contact Kai, Cinder, Scarlet or Wolf?"

I put my key in the key in our door and unlocked it. "I can't distant out yet but I dosen't seem too bad."

"So should we try and contact Kai? We could ask him if he has heard anything serious, good or bad?

"I guess it couldn't hurt, but since he is the Emperor, so it could take a few days to respond even if it is from us."

"But it would still be sent and I think Cinder could see it pretty quick! haha," Cress laughs at her own joke and I let out a little chuckle and smile.

"So what are we going to do tonight after we send the D-COMM to Kai?" I ask as I grab Cress's hand and pull her toward me. Then I let go of her hand and put my hand on her cheek. "I was just wondering, did I ever tell you how I became okay of being blind so long after we first met?

"I don't know you might have, but just after we met that is when the war and Revolution started so I don't really reminder, why? Was it important? Should I see if I documented it somewhere?" She starts to pull away, but I bring her back, laughing.

"I was trying to get the mood a little less serious and more toward this," I lean my head down and kiss her ever so teasingly. "I was going to say seeing your face right before everything went black was the only thing that kept me from losing in all that darkness." I lean all the way down again and kiss her more meaning fully.

"The mood setter thing was unnecessary but i appreciated it anyway," She kisses me back as we fall into bed.
