This chapter is about what happened directly after the Lunar Revolution (LR) ends but before the start of this version of the story. I hope you enjoy it as much as I loved typing it!
Three months have passed since Cinder and her rebels over took and killed Levana and her army (at least all those loyal to her, which weren't very many people.) Princess Winter took control of Luna temporarily while she is teaching Cinder about Luna's government and ways. Winter is having very trusted advisers (mainly Jacin) watch over Luna while she is taking annual trips to Eastern Commonwealth to give Cinder her lessons. When/ if needed they will use a D-COMM when Winter is unable to come down to Earth.
Back on Earth, Cinder now lives in a suite in the Eastern Commonwealth palace that Kai had made and given to her. Kai received the letumosis antidote right after Levana was over thrown so the plague is no longer a problem for Earth. Now that there is no reason for the royal scientists to work on that, Kai is having them work on letting cyborgs show their feelings or at least be able to cry, the scientists are taking cyborg volunteers (cyborgs are now real citizens!). As soon as the scientists are finished with this task (they are really close) the first cyborg that will be getting the surgery is, of course, our beloved main character Cinder!! But Cinder doesn't know about the scientists' project. Thorne and Cress are married and are traveling the world so Cress can see it all and not just from her satellite window! Scarlet and Wolf live in Scarlet's farm in France.
