As Thomas is driving Cinder and I to the research wing, I can't help but wonder how Cinder is going to react when she finds out what the scientists have been working on. How is she going to react to knowing that she will be able to show facial motions like other humans? Is she going to hate the idea? Is she going to be really excited? She has told me before how she has always wondered what it would feel being able to show emotions like crying or blushing. And if she ends up having the surgery, how is she going to react to the question I am going to ask her after she has recovered from the surgery? How is she going to like it when I propose to her? I can't believe I have finally gotten up the guts to ask her to marry me!         "Your Majesty? Emperor Kaito?" Thomas's voice pulled me out of my thoughts. He said it in a voice like he had said my name a few times.

"Oh sorry, yes Thomas?" I look at Cinder and she had a little smirk on her face like she knew I had been completely lost in my thoughts. It was almost like she knew WHAT I was thinking about. But as I searched her face,I couldn't look into her eyes because of the blindfold, it showed curiosity, nothing else.

"Your Majesty, We are here. Shall I help Princess Cinder out of the hover or do you want to?" He asked. He waited patiently until I looked away from Cinder's blindfolded gaze and met his eyes.

"I got it from here, thanks for your help, Thomas." I got out of the hover and helped Cinder get out too.

"Of course, Your Majesty, my pleasure to help you and Princess Cinder with anything." He bowed than got back into the hover and drove away.

"So am I going to ever take this blindfold off, or are you going to make me keep it on forever?" Cinder was starting to get impatient with me.

"Patience is a virtue, my Princess." I led her over to the doors of the research wing and let her go before me. I waved Dr. Nicolao over and put my finger to my lips. She nodded and walked over to where we were standing and stopped right in front of us. As I reached up and took the blindfold off I said, "Okay, you can look now."
