Where am I? What's happened? Where are Jeff and the others? My body felt stiff and my eyes wouldn't open. I heard a loud beeping and the faint sound of fighting. Something was happening and I had to know what it was. I fought and fought to wake up to no avail. I gave up trying and accepted that I wouldn't wake up. When, all of a sudden, my eyes shot open. I felt loose and flexible. I sat up and got off of the bed I was laying on. The first thing I saw was Laughing Jack all bruised up and tied to a chair. I walked over to him and tried to rest my hand on his shoulder...but it slipped through, as if made of air. I pulled my hand away. I turned around and saw the bed I had been laying on only moments ago...only...I was still there. I had been hooked up to a machine that was monitoring my heart rate...and it didn't look good for me. I heard a loud noise come from outside of the room. I rushed to the door and saw my best friend fighting Jane. However...Anna wasn't herself. She looked...different. She had wings and a rage in her eyes that I had never seen before. She looked hurt...like really hurt. She had bruises and cuts all over her and she looked like she was going to collapse. "Why is no one helping her!?" I screamed. No one even flinched. "Dammit, they can't hear me either." Sally looked afraid. She kept staring at my motionless body and rocking herself back and forth. I kneeled in front of her, her green eyes bright with dread. She turned her head and looked directly at me, but wasn't seeing me. Everyone watched as Anna took on Jane by herself. She was pushing away anyone who tried to help her. Eventually, her body couldn't take the strain anymore and she fell to the ground. We all gasped, but Jane snickered. I shot her a dirty look she couldn't see and rushed to my best friend's side. BEN had also run over and tried to help her up. She wouldn't let him, insisting she could do it herself. I shook my head at her independance. I walked back into the padded room and looked around a bit more. There was a full-length mirror on the far side that I hadn't noticed before. I walked up to it and looked in. I gasped at my reflection. I looked like my old self, someone I hadn't seen in months. I touched my face, my neck, my arms, my hips-everything was back to the night before I met Jeff. I heard more fighting and arguing coming from outside the room. I was about to go see what it was, when the heart started to speed up a bit...actually a lot! The fighting ceased and everyone ran into the room. Worry washed over their faces. Jeff walked up to my body and held onto my hand. I tried to grip his back, but it was no use. Eventually, the one long beep came, and I was gone.
