Jeff

I gripped Tess' lifeless hand as I listened to the long beep that meant she had left us. Words couldn't express how I felt about this. No one could speak, and I couldn't blame them. I looked at the arm I was holding. It was her left, the same one that she had brutally cut only a month ago. The bandages had been taken off and the wounds stayed there as a reminder of how even strong people break. I lightly touched them, hoping maybe it would trigger something. No such luck. I moved my eyes to her face. Dry blood stained half of her head. I moved over and looked at it. All the color had drained and she really did look dead. I sat down beside her body on the bed and lifted her into my arms. I pressed my lips to her forehead, but I couldn't hold it any longer. I broke, right there in front of everyone. They had never seen me cry like this, and I didn't care. I held Tess close to me as the tears kept streaming down my face. I felt the concerned stares of the people that I called my family. I felt a hand grab my arm and try to pull me away, but I resisted, screaming no as loud as I could. I felt the hand go away in fear. I turned my head and looked at everyone, but couldn't see who it belonged to. The touch was soft and meaningful, but faded too fast. I turned my gaze to Jane, who was standing in the back of everyone glaring at me with a smirk on her face. I put Tess down and got up. I took my knife out of my hoodie pocket and rushed at Jane. She had no time at all to move out of the way. I pressed her against the padded wall and held my knife against her neck. "Give me one reason I shouldn't end you right now." I yelled at her. I waited for a response, but never got one. I started to slowy press the knife into her neck, until blood started to drip down it. Jeff...I heard a voice calling my name, but looked around to see no one was talking to me. Put the knife down, Jeff. I heard it again and dropped the knife. Jane fell to the ground and started gasping for air. Anna and BEN held onto her so she couldn't escape. Approach her body, Jeff...she needs you now. I did as I was told and approached Tess. Tell her you love her, Jeff. I obeyed. Kiss her lips, Jeff. I obeyed again. Put her hands over her heart, Jeff. I was confused, but still obeyed the voice. Now, what I have to tell you is very important...lay your hands on top of hers, and sing the incantation. I hesitated, not knowing what it would do. I didn't have Tess' power of healing, I couldn't save her this way. Besides, she was already gone, there was no point. Do it, Jeff, trust me...sing the incantation. I sighed, laid my hands on top of Tess', and started to sing:

Flower gleam and glow,

Let your power shine,

Make the clock reverse,

Bring back what once was mine.

Heal what has been hurt,

Change the fates design,

Save what has been lost,

Bring back what once was mine,

What once was mine.

What happened next was nothing short of a miracle. Just as the final word escaped my mouth, Tess' body rose a few inches in the air, and it was slightly hovering over the bed. I kept my hands over hers the entire time, afraid to move them. Everybody stood, awe-struck at what was happening in front of them. A breeze passed over Tess' body, making her hair sway. The purple glow she'd had around her the day she'd saved Smile returned. The wound on her head slowly closed up, and the dry blood faded. Every bruise and scar on her body went away. Not only did her injuries heal, but her appearance changed as well. She went back to her normal self. She wasn't her creepypasta self anymore...she was the girl I'd met months ago, the one who always looked out for herself, the one who felt insecure and afraid. She was back to the Tess she was before I even met her...but she was still herself, and I couldn't ask for her any other way. The glow soon faded and her body slowly lowered itself back onto the bed. I took my hands off of hers and waited...for something, anything that showed me she wasn't gone. We all waited for about three minutes, but it flet like hours. When nothing happened, I sighed and got off of the bed. As I started to walk away, I heard a beep. And then another. And then another. I quickly turned around and looked at Tess' heart monitor. It was at a steady pace, a healthy pace, she was alive! I rushed over to her side and knelt down beside her, clutching her hand. "Tess?" I said in a worried tone. "Tess? Baby, angel, love, please wake up...please." Tess' eyes slowly opened, and I helped her sit up on the bed. She looked over to the family, and then to me. "Jeff?" I smiled and enveloped her in a hug. Everyone cheered and we were all overjoyed to have her alive and well again. I held her tightly as tears of joy ran down my face. I pulled away and we looked at each other for some time before I planted a big kiss on her lips. She flinched in surprise at first, but soon went along with it. It was starting to get passionate when I remembered that LJ was still tied to a chair and Jane was still being held by Anna and BEN. Tess and I pulled apart and looked in their direction. I went over to untie LJ, while Tess approached Jane. She kneeled down in front of her. LJ got up from the chair and walked over, placing a hand on Tess' shoulder.

Tess

"Use that thing I gave you." LJ said to me. I looked up at him, back to Jane, and then to my pocket. I slowly reached my hand into it and pulled out what looked to be a candy. It was gray and black swirled and it looked kind of poisonous. "What does it do?" I asked him. He snickered. "Just put it in Janes mouth and she'll be dead instantly." I looked at the candy, and then at Jane. She looked so helpless, so confused, so scared. She had kidnapped me, killed me, hurt my best friend and my boyfriends dog...but...I just couldn't bring myself to kill her. "C'mon Tess, just do it!" Jeff insisted. I hesitated. I moved the candy slowly towards her mouth...but stopped an inch away from her face. "No." I said, dropping the candy. "I can't...despite all she's done, I just can't kill her." Everyone looked at me with confused expressions. Jeff kneeled down besides me and put his hand on my upper back, which made me flinch. Something wasn't right. I never do that when Jeff touches me and I never have a problem with killing people...what is going on? I looked at Jeff, who looked uneasy. I looked away and caught a glimpse of myself in the full length mirror. I was normal again. Every single creepypasta feature I had was gone. My eyes and hair were dark brown again, my skin was back to it's original caramel color, and all desire to kill had left my heart. I was me again...but maybe, just maybe, I still had my powers. Only one way to find out. I stood up and held out a hand to Jane. BEN and Anna released her arms and she let me help her up. "Why are you helping me?" she asked.  I smiled. "Because," I said, "Killing you wouldn't be justice, at least it doesn't seem so to me." Jane smiled. "Thank you." she said. "Don't thank me yet." I took her wig off of her and grabbed both of her hands. I intertwined our fingers and sang the healing incantation I always used. I watched as the transformation began. All her scars and bruises left her body, her skin became a peach color, her large messy smile shrunk into two soft lips, her eyelids reintroduced themselves, and long brown hair replaced itself on what used to be her bald head. Everything that Jeff had turned her into vanished, and she was who she had wanted to be since Jeff changed her. She went and looked in the mirror and squealed with glee at what she saw. She ran over and hugged me tightly. "Thank you...thank you so much!" I hugged her back."Your welcome." I replied.
