(Back to Pip's perspective)

A short walk up a couple staircases and we were on the roof, a view of the city in our sights. Don't you recognize this? Yeah, it's how the story started. How it was told back on page one. Remember when I was talking about the city being the same but different? A mouse on my shoulder and a boy holding my hand? It was all told during the Prologue, and you can look for yourself if you don't believe me!

Wait... there's still one thing left. I whispered to Damien, who was very intrigued in watching the people below as they were filled with confusion and freedom, "The walls? Don't you remember?" He looked at me, confused for a second but then realized what I was talking about. He grabbed Butters and opened his back up to reveal a small red button-- WAIT A MINUTE!

"DID YOU SERIOUSLY PUT THE BUTTON INSIDE OF BUTTERS WITHOUT ME KNOWING" I yelled, talking him back before Damien could push the button. He looked at me, a bit of disappointment in his eyes. I sighed, giving that I do trust him a lot. I gave him Butters again, in which he pushed the button. A segment of the wall exploded each second, all the mice we dropped off exploding one by one to reveal the outside world to everyone who has never seen it before.

"We actually did it, Pip," Damien whispered in awe, his eyes full of that damn fire that he always had in him. I faced towards Damien, looking deeply into his eyes as I replied with a nod of my head, a determined look on my face. There were only a few inches between us, and I took this as an advantage, closing the gap between us with a passionate kiss. It took a moment before he relaxed, sinking into it as a few cheers were heard from below, a familiar feeling returning back to me, one that I haven't forgotten and will never forget.

Remember that feeling I described earlier, just a chapter or two ago the feeling of sadness, happiness, and compassion all combined into one. Yeah, I think I know what it is now. Sadness, knowing you can't be there for that person forever, but you will try your best to do whatever you can to make them the happiest they can be. Happiness, knowing that you know that the spend you two spend together is all worth it in the end. Compassion, because you care about the person so much that you will protect them through better or worse, until death do you both part.

And that's what I like to call...

Love.
