We walked back out of the catacombs and into the open. I noticed that it was pretty late. I grew so angry I wanted to hit something. I thought we had defeated Pan for once and for all, but no. Somehow, he managed to switch bodies with Henry and now he has the curse that brought all the fairytale characters, and God knows what he plans to do with it. As I was busy trying not to hit something, I tried my best to listen in to everyone.
"With the curse in Pan's hands, I would count on something hellish" Mr. Gold says.
"The curse was built to be unstoppable" Regina says.
I angrily sigh. That's exactly the news I needed to hear.
"It may be possible to stop it by using the scroll itself. It can only be undone by the person who used it. That's you Regina" Mr. Gold says.
"What do I have to do?" she asks,
"Destroy the scroll, and both yours and his curse will end" Mr. Gold replies.
I breathe a light sigh of relief. However, it will be dangerous getting the scroll away from Pan.
"But know there will be a price" Mr. Gold finishes.
Of course.
"What's your plan?" Regina asks,
"Instead of going to him, bring him to us with a spell. One that will return Pan and Henry into their own bodies" Mr. Gold says.
"If I'm back in my own body, that means I'll have the scroll. I can give it to you guys" Henry says.
"Even you're not powerful enough to cast such a spell" Regina says to Mr. Gold.
"Well given the proper tool, I can be" he replies.
"The Black Fairy's wand. One of the most powerful fairies that ever existed. Well-versed in dark magic. The Blue Fairy exiled her, but before she did, she took her wand" Tinker Bell speaks up.
"I assume our dearly departed Mother Superior had it hidden at her residence" Mr. Gold says.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's hit the convent" David says.
"Then it's settled. The rest of us should get back to my shop and prepare Henry for the spell" Mr. Gold says.
As everyone begins to separate to go their own ways, Neal whispers over to me, "where are you going to go?"
"I guess it doesn't really matter. As long as I know that doing this will help get rid of Pan for good. If anything, I was going to go the convent" I say.
"Then I'll go with you" he says.
"You just can't bear to see your little bird fly away from you, huh?" I ask him teasingly.
"Wait, what? No, I just-" he says.
I chuckle a bit.
"I was teasing" I say as I reach up to kiss his cheek.
Neal ends up just laughing as well.
"Let's go" I say.
I extend my hand out for him to grab. He quickly takes a look around to see if anyone was watching. Luckily for us, everyone else was gone and the people coming with us to convent were already way ahead of us. We had no one to question our motives. As Neal grabbed my hand, my eyes strayed behind him.
"Is something wrong?" he asks.
I shake my head.
"Nothing, I'm just seeing things" I say.We then walk, hand in hand, to the convent. However, what I told Neal was a lie because I didn't wanna worry him. It was because I know what I saw behind him. It was Pan's shadow.
As we walked into the convent, we noticed that there were three other nuns there. They were all sadly looking down upon the deceased Mother Superior.
"Sorry to interrupt but we need your help" Tinker Bell says breaking the silence.
"With what?" one of the nuns ask.
"The Black Fairy's wand is here. We need it" Neal says.
"We can never..." the nun begins to say, but is interrupted by Tinker Bell.
"Yeah, we know, it's a terrible thing but what's coming is worse. Where is it?" she asks.
Before the nun can answer, we hear a loud thump. All of us immediately look around and I was the first to see it. It was Pan's shadow hitting the convent windows. I was tempted to swear under my breath, but given that we were in a convent, I went back on it.
"What the hell was that?" David asks.
"Pan's shadow" I mutter.
The shadow continues to thump on the windows.
"What does it want?!" the nun yells.
"The wand" Hook says.
David has the nuns run into the other room and as that happens, the shadow flies into the convent. Hook has us all rush to the pews and hide behind them as the shadow continues to shriek and roar. I see Neal begin to take out the candle.
"Are we going to trap it again?" I ask him.
"Yeah, but this time let's get rid of it for good" Neal says.
"I'll draw it's ire" Hook says.
"No Hook, I need to do this" I tell him.
"Molly, it's far too dangerous" Hook says.
"Don't tell me what's dangerous and what's not! I've dealt with the shadow before! Hell, I even dealt with Pan face to face! I'm going to help get the shadow's attention so we can rid of that bloody thing once and for all and you're not doing anything about it!" I yell.
"You have fire, I like that in a woman" Hook says.
I smirk. I look at Neal with the candle.
"Once it gets close enough, trap that sucker" I say.
Neal nods without question. I walk out of my hiding spot behind the pew and into the open the shadow immediately spots me.
"It's me again 'old friend.' Miss me?" I say to it taunting it.
He spots me and dives at me and I immediately jump out of the way. It was now near Neal and everyone else.
"Neal light that candle!" I yell at him.
"It won't work, the shadow's still too high!" David yells.
"And I can't fly up there!" Neal yells.
I roll my eyes. Thank you for stating the obvious Neal. Suddenly, the shadow dives at me, and I barely had enough time to jump out of the way. Luckily I did, but it caused me to skid on the ground. Before the shadow could attack me again, Neal pulls Me back into the pew.
"What was that for?" I ask him.
Before he can answer, Tinker Bell beats him to it.
"Don't worry Molly" she says.
