Chapter 28: A Hero is Born

Shortly after our confrontation in the graveyard, Zelena then takes me to this old barnyard out in the middle of nowhere.

"What are we doing here?" I ask.

"You'll find out soon enough" Zelena replies.

We walk in and I notice Mr. Gold was there, digging strange markings into the ground. He looks up at us. His eyes first stray to me.

"Molly, what are you doing?" he says sadly.

Zelena uses the dagger to force him to keep digging.

"Keep digging pet, the time for questions is not now" she says.

Mr. Gold grunts and continues to grunt.

"What are these markings for?" I ask.

"They're part of the time traveling spell. After they're carved out, we place the ingredients into each corner. I have almost everything, but one piece is still missing" Zelena replies.

I remember what we had talked about at Regina's house.

"Mary Margaret's baby" I say.

"Exactly" Zelena says.

I hope I'm not the only one who found the use of a baby in a spell, disturbing.

"How long is it going to take? Earlier today I was with Mary Margaret at the graveyard and she looked perfectly fine" I say.

"Oh you weren't there to see it. After you stormed off, moments later, Mary Margaret's water broke. She's at the hospital now" Zelena says.

"So what? We're just going to storm into the hospital and steal a newborn baby?" I ask.

"It's not going to be that simple. What's going to happen is that you're going to go to the hospital with everyone else, pretending you're there for support. Then, you're going to report to me everything that's going on" Zelena replies.

"How do I report to you without anyone getting suspicious? Cell phone? Walkie talkie?" I ask.

"Don't be silly, Molly. You're going to have powers by then. You'll be able to teleport in and out of there without anyone noticing your gone" Zelena replies.

I nod my head.

"Sweet. You'll able to teach me everything you know in just a matter of hours?" I ask.

Zelena smiles evilly.

"And maybe even more" she says.

I smile.

"Stay out here for a moment. I'm going to speak to dear Rumple first" Zelena says.

Mr. Gold's P.O.V.

As I continued digging, I noticed Zelena walking back towards me. I turn and looked at her with fury.

"What did you do to Molly?" I grit through my teeth.

"I didn't do anything. She voluntarily joined my cause. I'm guessing you didn't hear. Emma decided to no longer trust Molly, therefore, Molly joined me to help stop her" Zelena says.

"There's no way she joined you that easily. You bribed her with something. What did you bribe her with?" I ask.

Zelena laughs.

"You know me all too well. Of course I bribed her. I bribed her with the fact that I could resurrect her lover: your son Neal" she says.

"But you can't do that" I say.

"Of course I can't. But Molly doesn't know that" Zelena says.

I feel the anger boil up inside of me.
