The first thing I see the next morning is the bright sunlight upon my face. My eyes flutter open to the bright light. I groaned a bit for I still wanted to sleep some more, but the sunlight had woken me up. I rub eyes and sit up in bed. It takes a second for my eyes to adjust to what is going on. I looked around the room and I couldn't recognize it for a second. Then I realized, that this was Neal's room. I look down and I realize I was still wearing the same clothes I was wearing last night. Then I look to the left of me and see a pair of men's clothes lying on the bed. I can only assume whose those were. Just as I'm thinking about it, a figure strolls out of the bathroom. It was Neal, wearing only a towel wrapped around his waist.

"Oh, hey" he says kind of sheepishly.
"Hey" I reply concealing a blush.
"You were still asleep when I woke up, so I decided to let you sleep in a little longer" Neal says.
"What time is it anyway?" I ask.
Neal quickly checks his phone on his bed.
"A little past 7:30" he says.
That's when something struck me. I never booked that 2:00 flight back to Baltimore.
"The earliest flight back to Baltimore is at 8:00. Maybe if we hurry-" I begin to say as I get out of bed and pull my shoes on, but Neal cuts me off.
"What's the rush?" he asks.
"What else do I have to stay for? I have nothing else to do today. Why wait until 2:00?" I ask.
"Just stick around. Say your good-byes" Neal replies.
"I kinda said them last night at the party" I say.
"Just take the 2:00 flight home please?" Neal says.
He begins to give me the puppy dog look.
"That won't work" I say.
Neal then moves in closer and grabs my hand. He also begins to kiss my neck. I try my best to resist, but I gave in.
"Alright, now stop!" I say as I push him off.
"Yeah" Neal says.
"I hate you" I tell him.
"No you don't" he replies with a smirk.
I smirk back at him. Before I'm about to gather the rest of my stuff, a somewhat scary thought pops into my head.
"Neal?" I ask him.
He's about to gather up his clothes when he turns to face me.
"Yeah?" he asks.
"Would you remind me what happened last night? After we finished the movie?" I ask him.
"Well, we kind of just made out in the bed for a while until we both got tired and we ended up falling asleep. You weren't drunk, how do you not remember?" he says.
I laugh a bit.
"I was just wondering. So nothing else happened then?" I say.
Neal got the hint. He walks over and places his hands on my shoulders.
"Molly, I would never do anything like that to you. Especially if you're not ready. I swear on my life, nothing else happened last night" he says.
"Okay, sorry, I was just concerned" I say.
"It's alright" Neal says.
As we tidy up a bit more, another thought pops in my head.
"You know Neal, now since we've gone on a date, I think it's about time you ask Emma out on a date" I say.
Neal's face saddens a bit as I say this.
"Come on Neal, I at least want you to go on one before I leave" I say.
"It's not the fact that I don't want to ask her out, I'm just afraid what she'd say about it" Neal says.
"Neal don't do this to yourself. You told yourself your greatest mistake was taking the easiest way out and not trying to get Emma back. Now's your chance, you have nothing to lose" I say.
I grab Neal's phone and start going through his contacts to find Emma.
"Wait, what are you doing?" he asks.
"Please Neal, you have to do this. I'm calling Emma and you're asking her out on a date" I say.
"What makes you think she's going to be up this early?" Neal asks.
"Trust me, it's not impossible" I say.
I find Emma's contact and push dial. I quickly hand the phone to Neal.
"Here, it's ringing" I say.
Neal grabs the phone and takes a deep breath.
"Here goes nothing" he says.
He then puts the phone by his ear. About 30 seconds later, I know Emma picked up because Neal starts talking.
"Hey Emma, listen nothing important. I was just wondering if you'd like to meet up at Granny's today around lunch time?" he asks.
It's silent for a few seconds. Probably because Neal was listening to what Emma had to say.
"Okay then, bye" he says.
Then he hangs up.
"Soooo?" I ask.
"More than anything I have a date" he says.
I then embrace him into a hug.
"I knew you had it in you" I say.
Neal then breaks away.
"Now get out of here. I have to get dressed" he says.
"Well, you're not going on your date just yet. It's still a couple of hours away" I say.
"Yeah, but I gotta take my time and pick out the right clothes and look as beautiful as I can be" Neal replies trying his best to mimic me.
I take a pillow off the bed and throw it at him.
"You're an ass!" I yell at him.
"I love you too!" he yells back.
I just chuckle at him as I gather up the rest of my things.
"Let me know how it goes" I say with a smile as I walk out the door.
