As soon as I hear that name, it feels like I just got hit by an oncoming train. My heart also begins to beat fast.
"Wait, how the hell do you know that name? Are you guys stalking me or something without me realizing?" I ask.
"No it's nothing like that. Please, just drink the bottle and everything will make more sense" the dark haired guy says.
I chuckle.
"Not on your life. Explain how you know the name Baelfire" I demand.Baelfire isn't a very common name, I can assume they are talking about the same Baelfire I know.
The blonde woman sighs.
"Baelfire and I were once in a relationship at the time and we had a child together. He left me however leaving me to take care of our kid. I didn't think I'd ever see him again until I came across this place called Storybrooke. If you come with us Molly, you can see him again, and if you drink the bottle, you'll remember everything."
The name Storybrooke tugged at the back of my mind. There was no way this was a coincidence. Then again, I was too afraid to see Baelfire again. I haven't seen him in 20 years and something was telling me that I was the reason why.
"Listen, I'm sorry. I don't remember you guys, I don't remember the name Baelfire. I think you have the wrong woman" I tell them.
"No Molly please-" the dark haired man is about to say.
"Leave now or I'm calling the police" I tell them.
The dark haired man is about to speak again but the blonde woman stops him.
"Let's go" she tells him.
The dark haired man looks disappointed as he decides to listen to the blonde woman.
"We'll be around, just let us know if you're you change your mind" he says as he hands me a piece of paper with a phone number on it.I nod and take it, even though there was no way in hell.
They begin to walk away as I close the door.
As I lean my back on the door, I wanted to cry, but couldn't bring myself to it. As I walk away from my front door and into my living room, I hear a voice ask, "Molly, are you alright?"
I turn and see Martin. I almost forgot he was here.
"Yeah, I'm alright" I tell him.
"W-Who's Baelfire?" he asks.
I bite my lip.
"He's just an old friend. One I haven't seen in a very long time" I tell him.
"Then why didn't you go with them?" Martin asks.
I sigh.
"Because I'm happy with what I have now. A good job, a nice place to live, and great friends" I say with a smile.
This causes Martin to smile a bit too.
"By the way, were you trying to ask me something earlier? Before the incident at my door happened?" I ask him.
Now Martin bites his lip.
"N-no it's not important" he says.
"No seriously, what is it Martin?" I ask.
He began to look very uncomfortable.
"I-I already took up a lot of your time, I just think I should go now" Martin says as he begins to head towards the door.
"Martin please-" I say as I grab his arm.
He turns back around, but doesn't make eye contact with me.
"It's alright, you don't have to be nervous" I tell him.
Martin takes a deep breathe and begins.
"I was just wondering......if you were free Saturday night" he asks me.
"Um....yeah actually I am. Why?" I say.
"I just wanted to see if you wanted to go out with me that night.....but it's alright, you don't have to go if you don't want to" Martin says.
"No Martin....actually.....I would like to go out with you Saturday night" I say.
Martin looks straight at me with a surprised look on his face. I also notice him blush a bit.
"Really?! I mean.....I'll pick you up at 7:00?" he asks.
I smile.
"Sounds good to me" I say.
Martin smiles and blushes like crazy.
"Alright, but I seriously do need to head out now. I'll see you later" he says.
"Bye Martin" I say as he heads out the door.More than anything I was excited for my date with Martin. I rarely get out to do anything, so this was different for me. However, like every girl before a date, I had a predicament to deal with: what to wear. I didn't want to wear anything too fancy in case we were just going to do something casual such as go to the movies, but I also kind of wanted to look nice in case we were going someplace such as dancing. Martin honestly didn't tell me anything. He simply kept telling me that is was a "surprise." At last minute, I finally decided on a nice dress, not too casual, not too fancy. Just right.
