As birds chriped the world awake as an orange hue washed the darkness away from the sky marking a significant morning in my life.

Significant

A word so new and distant to me. But now things might change. My life might change.

Rolling over in the comfy peach coloured bed, I gazed at Dhruv's serene face. My love. The reason for those impending changes.

Beautiful changes!!

He appeared so calm, so blissful, so contented. Like he had found the wings to his soul. And the way he acted when I proposed him last night was no different.

A strikingly talented businessman on the outside. A kid longing for concern and love on the inside. And I was in love with him, inside out.

As if sensing I was awake, his arm that was around me pulled me into his warm bare chest and patted me to sleep.

I closed my eyes with a smile while memories from last night flashed in my mind widening my smile.

The glint in Dhruv's warm brown orbs as I proposed him. His sincere, happy and contented laugh. An excited Dhruv lifting me off the ground yelling that he had won the world. Dreams clogging our mind, making us fall on the bed. Voiceless Promises made through eyes as we consciously and wholeheartedly fell into bliss, amalgamating our souls into one.

As I opened my eyes again, I saw those same brown orbs smiling at me. My darling was awake.

"Good..." morning? evening? night? I never gave him the chance to complete his sentence as I kissed him like a possessed woman. And my man pulled me closer making it more passionate. A beautiful moment. But can I allow this moment to be perfect?

No!!

Raising my hand, I started tickling the beast bellow me who bellowed as he was extremely ticklish. Breaking the kiss, he unsuccessfully tried to pry my hands off. He could easily overpower me but would never do it. My mad lover. Soon his face turned red as carefree laugh spilled out making my morning more blissful.

"You had to ruin it?" He scowled once I set him free.

"Yup!"

Sighing he buried his face in the groove of my neck. "Do you regret?" He voiced out his fear. My charming gentleman.

"No" I could feel his smile as he tightened his hold on me.

"Why"

"I believe in us"

•••••••••••••••

Dhruv was sulking as we got ready to leave.

"Do you have to leave?"

"Yes" I answered for the seventh time.

"But I don't want you too... we met after a long time"

"Three days is your long time?"

"I missed you! Don't go Sam."

"I need to... Mom is returning home today with Arjun. If they found about our secret adventures, you could kiss our lives a big fat bubye."

He looked slightly alarmed as the meaning of my words seeped in.

"What do you mean? People in relationship do this. There's nothing wrong with it."

This abroad brought-up Prince!! Sighing, I pulled him to sit beside me on our couch.

"Dhruv, darling... You are now in India, dating an orthodox Indian girl. So at least try and learn a few fun facts about this country and its tradition.

What we did last night is considered a sacred thing that is supposed to happen only within wedlock. Here, People still believe in it. And my super cool Mom is no exception.

So yeah! Us doing the bee's and birds thing might make people frown upon me and stamp me characterless.

So if you don't want Ragini to go Mom-zilla on me and Arjun to pummel you to a painful death, we have to keep this secret."

"You could have told me this last night, stopped me... oh my God, I got you into trouble... But...But what they think is wrong..."

I think he was having a panick attack. It was really funny to see Dhruv like this, wandering like a headless chicken, stumbling over words, eyes filled with panic. Cartoon!

Sniffling my laugh I pulled him back.

"Shh!!

Get a hold on yourself. Breathe in... Breathe out..."

"I did not stop you, cause I felt it was right. Yes! I value those ideologies. But I know I'm gonna spend my eternity with you, so what we did last night is not wrong by any beliefs, morals or tradition.

The moment you said 'yes', you became my better-half"

He smiled and I could literally see my image getting enlarged and crowned as queen in his eyes.

Freak!!! A moron believes my words... Time to party!!

Chuckling, he kissed me.

"You are speaking out aloud again, sweetheart!" He sang.

Oh I'm gonna kill my conscience for embarrassing me on daily basis.

The feelings are mutual!

"I'll drop you home.

And get ready tomorrow for meeting my parents"

"What!"

"I wanna get married to you as soon as possible. So yeah, the first step: meeting parents"

"NoNoNoNo...

They will not approve this once they get to know my weirdness.

Give me time idiot! Let me prepare. I need a month at least"

"No! Just be yourself tomorrow. Everything will be fine.

As you said...

Believe in us"

If you have expected a detailed description of that night, you are ridiculously idiotic. What kind of a sister describes such stuff in a journal written to her naive younger sister?

Thoughts on Dhruv and Sam,

And its kind of a filler
(Promising a quicker update next time)

Peace out
Maddy
