Abby's POV I take one last look at my appearance and head downstairs. Tonight is the "a night with blue and white" gala, and I am going with Auston. I'm kind of nervous because it's our first time appearing together as a couple, and I think he's going to make it official tonight. I walk downstairs to see Mitch and Auston on the couch talking. I clear my throat and they both stand up. Auston's eyes widen and Mitch says,
"You look incredible Abs"
"And you Mitch look incredibly handsome." He does a little twirl and says
"Thank you." I giggle,
"Alright let's get out of here," He says while walking towards the door. Auston comes towards me and wraps his hand around my waist and whispers,
"He just wants to go pick up his girlfriend." I laugh and roll my eyes.
"he was right though you look incredibly beautiful," I blush and kiss him on the cheek. As we are heading out I grab my clutch and phone, we head down to the limo and head towards Steph's apartment. Mitch heads up to her apartment to escort her downstairs as he said. I turn towards Auston,
"I think I forgot to tell you how incredible you look tonight" He smiles,
"You look much better." He kisses me gently trying not to ruin my lipstick. Soon Mitch and Steph are in the car and we are on our way.
About 15 minutes later we arrive at the ACC. The door opens to a blue carpet with tons of cheering fans and flashing lights of cameras. Auston gets out first and helps me out with Mitch doing the same with Steph, Auston does a couple of interviews and I just stand beside him taking all of it in. After a couple one of the interviewers asks,
"So Auston who is this beautiful lady standing beside you," He looks at me and smiles, I nod,
"This is Mitchy's twin sister and my girlfriend, Abby Marner." He grabs my hand and all my nerves disintegrate,
"So your relationship with Jordyn Johnson is officially over?" Auston nods,
"Jordyn and I's relationship has been on and off for years and it was time for me to let her go and move onto someone I truly care for." I smile and look down. The interviewer continues to ask questions and I just zone out.
"Abs come on let's go inside," I look up to Auston who is grabbing my hand we walk inside together and get ready for the festivities. We take a seat at our table with Patrick and Christine Marlaue, Mitch and Steph, Matt, and Jake and Lucy. Soon the night has begun and the boys are off doing their teammate game on stage. I quickly sneak a picture of Auston and post it on Instagram,
