Abby's POV
I sit down in front of the TV with my notebook and pen in hand. It is currently 10:10 and I'm preparing to watch Canada vs USA women's gold medal hockey game. I was talking with Natalie Spooner and Renata Fast and they wanted me to watch the game and make sure that everything was going well and text them after every period. I feel two hands on my shoulders,

"Don't read too far into this ok Abby," Mitch says from above me,

"What do you mean? I will be fine Mitch," I feel myself getting tense,

"Mitch I can watch hockey please just leave me be." He sighs and heads upstairs, I get a text from Auston,

Do you want me to come watch with you?

No, you have a game tomorrow go to bed and get good sleep.

I am coming over with my Coyne jersey on but you can't give me shit about it ok?

Lol, that jersey is not allowed in the Marner apartment sorry.

I hear the door open and close, as the puck is dropped Auston sits next to me in his disgusting blue jersey, but he looks really hot anyway. As the period goes on Auston helps me write some notes for team Canada which I know he hated but it will be ok. Unfortunately, USA won the gold medal I call Natalie and talk to her for a little, she is obviously upset but there is always next time. When I turned toward Auston I find him past out on the coach, I press my lips to his forehead and head up to my room. I change into my PJ's and get into bed. Quickly falling asleep. I wake up the next morning and hop into the shower. I grab my hockey bag and sneak out knowing that the boys are at there morning breakfast before there afternoon game against the Blackhawks. I head to the Leaf's practice facility and start skating around, I throw some pucks on the ice and start shooting and working on my skills. I let my mind be lost in the hockey. I was jealous. I knew I was all I ever wanted was to make it to the Olympics and play on the Canadien national team. I stand at the blue line taking slapshots as hard as I possibly can. BANG BANG BANG all resulting in SWOSH SWOSH SWOSH of the puck hitting the back of the net. One after another. BANG BANG BANG until all the pucks are gone.

Four hours later, I hop off the ice and sit down in a stall. I look around the locker room and put my head into my hands. Unaware of the surrounding around me I feel a hand on my back,

"Hey, trooper, what's up?" I look up to see Will,

"What are you doing here? You should be getting ready for the game," he laughs,

"Oh Abs, on game days I always come to the rink to practice for a little with Naz and Leo." I look up to see them standing by the door.

"Of course you do, well I will get out your hair." I stand up but I am pulled down by Will,

"What's wrong?" I shake my head,

"Nothing. I need to go home and get ready for my afternoon class," I grab my bag and head out. When I get in my car I check my numbers and head back to the apartment. I head up to find Mitch sitting on the coach,

"So I heard that you were at the practice rink today," I sit next to him and lay my head on his chest,

"I'm jealous Mitch, really jealous." He sighs and wraps his arms around me,

"I know Abs it's ok," I put my face into his chest and cry,

"All I ever wanted was to make the Olympic team, win a gold medal, be as good as you, and earn our parents approval." He sighs,
