Mitch's POV
After the game, I check my phone to see that I have a text from Cam,

Cam Cam
Is Abby ok?

Me
What do you mean? She's at the game, she's fine!

Cam Cam
Well based on her last Instagram post she is not fine. Do I need to come out to Toronto again Mitch?

Me
No god no. I will talk to her when I'm done getting changed. You don't need to worry.

Well shit, I think to myself. What could have happened? Did Auston do something? No that's not possible he knows I would kill him. Was it mom? I quickly change back into my suit and run out of the locker room, as I'm heading down the hallway to go back to my car I run into my mom and dad. UGH exactly what I need right now.

"Hey, mom and dad. What are you guys doing here?" I say pulling my mom into a hug.

"We came to visit for a little Mitch. We wanted to see our son. Now let's go get you some dinner you must be starving." I look around for Abby. I thought she was coming?

"Where's Abs?" Mom shakes her head and rolls her eyes,

"She claims to have a lot of homework to do tonight." I sigh,

"Mom, don't be rude. She's been a little stressed out these last couple of weeks. She's got her hands full. But I'm only going to dinner if she's there, so I will go home change and pick her up and meet you for dinner. Ok?"

"No, Mitch let it just be us tonight. I don't really want to see your sister." That's when my dad buts in,

"Bonnie, don't be rude she's your daughter, not a doll." My mom rolls her eyes.

"Mitch go pick up your sister and meet us at the restaurant." My dad says firmly taking my moms hand and dragging her out the door. Before I head out I look around for Steph, but there's no sign of her. I sigh and say bye to the boys before heading out. I drive home in a rush so I don't keep my parents waiting too long. I jog up the stairs to Abby and me's apartment and run to her room, and knock on her room's door, I hear a quite,

"Come in" I walk in to find her on the floor with her laptop and a ton of textbooks and notes in front of her.

"What do you want Mitchel?" She says not looking up from her notes,

"Mom and dad showed up to the game tonight and want to go out for dinner, but I told them I would only go if you come so get ready for dinner please." She looks up,

"Well usually I would go but as you can tell I'm drowning in work, so maybe another time." It sounded like she was coming up with excuses and really didn't want to be with me which is strange because she usually never turns down the change to go out for dinner,
