Boruto : the future

A new era....

A few days had past since Boruto defeated Kawaki. Their battle had left the ninja world scared. By defeating a man which the legendary Naruto and Sasuke could not beat together, made Boruto the strongest Shinobi in history. Thanks to Boruto the casualties where very few but his fathers and Mentor Sasuke's life was taken, And today the Shinobi world was holding a  funeral for the loss of two of the finest Shinobis to ever live
Every one from the five great nation was attending the funeral. Boruto was in the front row with his mother and sister and than he heard a voice from behind
"Boruto...." said the voice
Boruto turned around to see Sarada standing behind him
"Oh, hey Sarada.. I'm sorry I couldn't save ur father" said Boruto
"Boruto it was not your fault, papa died protecting me, so if it was anyone's fault it was mine, if I wasn't so weak papa wouldn't had to risk his life for me" replied Sarada
"Sarada it was not ur fault, you did your best" said Boruto
Just than it started raining and their was a ray of sunlight in the coffins of Naruto and Sasuke so Sakura said "the heavens are crying for your fathers and accepting their souls in to heaven"
"Looks like it" said Hinata
Just as Hinata said that Orochimaru appeared and the entire gathering split into two and made way for the snake sage, after the crowd split up making way for him he made his way towards the coffins and opened them and Boruto said "what are you doing?"
"I'm granting your fathers and teachers final wish" was the reply Boruto received
"And what would that wish be?" Asked Sarada
"You will see" said the Sennin with a grin
Orochimaru made a few hand signs and summoned two white zetsus and added the DNA of the deceased and did the hand signs for the reanimation jutsu
Boruto knew that the reanimation jutsu put the animated under the jutsu casters control so Boruto said "Orochimaru if you are planning on using our fathers to do anything..."
Before Boruto could finish Orochimaru interrupted "what else is there to destroy or do, like I said I'm just fulfilling your fathers and mentors last wish, it is something I promised them a long time ago"
When Boruto heard this he relaxed but still had his guard up
Orochimaru finished the jutsu and in front of the five great nations stood two men who was thought to be dead every one was amazed, Naruto looked at his son and family Sasuke did the same for his daughter and wife
Naruto spoke first "Boruto, Hinata, Hima, seeing you alive and this huge gathering I'm guessing that Kawaki has been defeated and your honouring the dead?" Asked Naruto to which Boruto nodded, hearing that Kawaki has been defeated brought a small smile onto his face, Naruto took a breath of relief before speaking again, "Boruto. I am very proud of you, we both are, you defeated a man alone which we both could not together, and I'm sorry we are leaving you, take care of your mother and sister" Boruto nodded and alone tear escaped his eye " thank you for every thing dad and you too Sensei, I would have never gotten this strong if it weren't for you two, thanks for giving your lives to protect ours"
Naruto than looked at Hinata and Himawari and said "I'm sorry I was not strong enough, Himawari look after mommy ok, and I love u, all three of you"
And he gave Himawari a hug and gave Hinata a kiss
Than it was Sasuke's turn to speak
"Once again Boruto, congratulations on defeating Kawaki, I always knew you would be the one to save our world and carry my dream"
"Sensei, what was your dream?" asked Boruto
"My dream was to find some one to carry on my legacy, and I'm so glad that person is my one and only student" said Sasuke with a smile than he turned to his family
And gave Sarada his signature poke on the forehead and said "I'm sorry, this is good bye, I love u Sarada, I will be watching over you from the other side" and a tear rolled down Sarada's cheek
And she replied "I love you too papa" than he looked at Sakura and walked over to his beloved wife and before he could say anything Sakura hugged him and Sasuke returned the hug but Sasuke knew what she really wanted so when she let go and waited for Sasuke to poke her forehead, instead of poking his wife's forehead he kissed her. Sakura was surprised at first but soon relaxed and enjoyed her last kiss from her husband
"Ok you two lovebirds the jutsu is fading so say ur final good byes" said Orochimaru
Sasuke and Sakura broke of their kiss and said their good byes and so did Naruto
And in a matter of seconds the animated had faded and left, leaving two lifeless zetsus on the ground
They could see the souls accenting to the sky and Sarada walked over to Boruto and held his hand and Boruto looked at who held his hand and it was Sarada so he held her hand back
