Boruto : the future

Change...

                         Two years later
It was the early in the morning, few civilians were up and working, the sound of birds chirping could be heard, the guards at the northern gate were alarmed when they saw a portal open not far from the gate and a figure in white about 5 feet 11 inches step out from the portal
The guards took their defensive positions along with ANBU who were near, the figure rose his hands in surrender and then took of his hood showing spiky blond hair with electric blue eyes and his two whisker like birthmarks on his cheek, Boruto Uzumaki was back from his long term mission
"Boruto-Sama you've returned!" Said the first guard, the ANBU realising there was no threat dispersed
"No don't announce it because I might have to leave right after" Said Boruto, "very well, I presume you will be reporting to Hokage-Sama?" Asked the second guard
Nodding Boruto Said his good bye and hiraishined to his fathers office

Boruto arrived inside his fathers office but neither his father or his clone was present, Boruto thought out loud "might as well wait" and sighed before plopping down on the couch in the office
Not long after the door to the office opens and Naruto along with his advisor Shikamaru entered the office, Shikamaru was the first person to notice Boruto and stopped in his tracks and stared at Boruto
Naruto noticing Shikamaru's sudden change turned his focus to where Shikamaru was staring and who he saw nearly made his heart stop
"Boruto..?" Shakily said Naruto
"Yea tou-san?" Replied Boruto with a smile stood up
"When did you get back?" Asked Shikamaru
"It's not been long, I just got here and sat down when you came in" Replied Boruto
Nodding Naruto Asked "How was the mission?" Walking to his table and sitting down, a sigh could be heard from Boruto but before he could begin Shikamaru spoke "since he just got back he'll have a large report so I'll push all your appointment by a few hours" making Naruto nod in appreciation
Shikamaru left the room and Boruto began, "for the first few weeks of the mission not much happen, but on the fourth or fifth week I might have found the answers to a lot of questions that we had in the past..."
"And that would be?" Asked Naruto, grinning Boruto Asked "Did you ever wonder why momoshiki came to this world out of the multiple others?", "he came for what he called the fruit with is the tail beasts" Replied Naruto
Hearing this answer Boruto chuckled and said "partly yes but the real reason was, the Otsutsuki family were royals you could say, and there's one rule every royal family follows and that is marriage with in the family, most Otsutsuki's married because they had to but Momoshiki and Kaguya were different, they were cousins but there was love between them, they were happy but could not have children before she was sent here to cultivate the chakra fruit where she fell in love with that emperor and bore his children with we know as Hagoromo and Hamura, Momoshiki was furious when he heard that Kaguya left him for the emperor but he forgave her over time, then after he forgave her he started making his way to this realm to reclaim his wife and wife's chakra"
After that revelation there was a long moment of silence, "is that all that happen?" Asked Naruto
Shaking his head Boruto once again began "I met 1 of Kaguya's siblings, he was a more of the first kill then ask questions later type, I didn't get his names but he was on the same power level as Jigen"

           Flashback 1 year 11 months
A figure in full black was walking through ankle length snow, the temperature reaching below -12 degrees Celsius, the destination of the traveller. A castle in the distance barely visible due to the snow
After nearly a eternity of walking the traveller arrived at the castle, walking up the stairs the figure pushed the huge double door open to reveal a dusty room with a throne in the middle of the room where a figure in white sat
Walking to the centre of the room and the figure in black took of his clock hood to revel his blond hair
"Boruto Uzumaki, the mortal who defeated my brother and the offspring of the man who defeated my sister" spat the man on the throne
"Hey don't blame me that they were so weak" Replied Boruto with a smirk
A laughter was heard then the man spoke "true.." and disappeared and reappeared infront of Boruto and whispered "but don't expect me to be anything like them" and punched Boruto in the stomach
The punch made Boruto to spit out blood, "damn you have a strong punch" Said Boruto and got up, "his physical strength is off the charts, best not to engage him head on may be use Minato oji-chans hummingbird style" thought Boruto
The man sped up at Boruto and went for a punch to the face who on pure instinct bent his back just enough that the mans punch missed by a few centimetres, using the momentum Boruto somersaulted back and landed on his knees before standing up and smirking
"I'm going to enjoy this" and sped off at the man letting his cloak go, the man returned the smirk and sped off at Boruto
The two met at the middle, both their forearms clashed, the man with his superior strength easily over powered Boruto, pushing Boruto back the man went for a kick to the left just below the tenth rib but unfortunately the humming bird style was a style that uses the opponents strength and momentum combined with the users speed
Catching the mans leg just as the kick made contact and Boruto swept the mans legs, the man was falling to the side but caught himself before pushing off to the side
"Im starting to hate you already" spat the man gaining a smirk from Boruto, "I thought you made that clear even before the fight but I'll let you know that the feelings mutual" and sped of towards him and threw a punch to the mans right clavicle
The man caught Boruto's punch and grabbed the blonds tenth rib and pulled back, excruciating pain filled his entire body
"AHHHH" screamed the blond, "music to my ears" Replied the man and pulled harder
With all the strength he had Boruto knees the man's Xiphoid process, the sound of the bone fracturing was heard
Feeling the pain the man let go of allowing Boruto to escape the mans reach who fell to his knees before vomiting blood, Boruto fell to his knees and had an arm over the rib and his breath was heavy
Getting up to his feet weakly Boruto thought "I never thought the old mans high pain tolerance would help me in a fight", the man looked up with a angry snarl and screamed "I'm going to make you pay!" Which with the blood in between his teeth looked menacing and sped off at the blond with a chakra axe
"I have to finish him off.." Dodging the swing "quickly!" Thought Boruto, making a rasengan Boruto lunged at the man
Ducking under a second swing Boruto thrusted his hand into the mans chest hoping the fractured bone would break off and pierce the heart
The dark grey orb sent the man flying and crashed into the mansion wall, no movement was seen from the downed man making Boruto drop his guard slightly
Just as Boruto was about to assume the man was dead, the man laughed
The laughed was loud, then the man weakly stood up, "I never thought a mortal would be able to push me this far" and shook his head
The man opened his hands and around 10 of the very same chakra pills that momoshiki used were there
The man swollowed all ten, the mans muscles buffed and his wounds closed almost instantly and his chakra capacity increased exponentially, Boruto spat out a tsunami of water at the man but unfortunately the water froze just before it hit the man
Making one of his disappearing rasengans Boruto threw it, the man smashed the ice infront if him not expecting a sudden impact to send him flying back once more
Running towards the downed man Boruto collected wind chakra and send multiple wind blades at him, the blades cut him but unfortunately none of the cuts were fatal
Not wanting the man to recover Boruto went airborne before punched the man in the right cheek and followed up with a heel kick to the back of the right thigh
The man fell to his knees once again and Boruto went for the finishing blow spinning him self forward and delivering a heel kick to the mans occipital bone causing the mans face to smash into the ground and the sound of bones shattering could be heard
Landing in his feet Boruto looked at the man once again and said "and this time stay down" before falling back on his arse and breathing a breath of relief

"He was one of the two actual fight I had in the entire mission, the other fight was against some chakra beast that has momoshiki's ability to absorb and release ninjitsu, the rest of mission only consisted of weak enemies that were able to wound me but nothing serious" reported Boruto
Nodding Naruto then said "well I expect a written report by day after tmrw, you are dismissed"
Boruto walked over to the window and looked out and asked "how has Sarada been?", Naruto literally froze at that question making panic arouse in him
"Did something happen to her?" Asked Boruto, by then Naruto's shoulders started shaking and a voice cried out "I'm sorry son...but she's a married women now"
"She's married...married..married" repeated in Boruto's head
Only one thing came out of his suddenly extremely dry throat, "Why?"
