Boruto : the future

What happen...

There was a moment of silence between the two blonds, the only sound that can be heard is the sound of the older blond crying
"Who did she settle down with?" Asked Boruto
Naruto didn't reply, sighing Boruto then asked "when did she get married?" Still no reply
Knowing that he could not get the answers to his questions Boruto turned around and walked to the door and opened it but before he walked out Boruto Said "please congratulate hachidaime on my behalf as I will not be present for her coranation" and walked through before closing the door

Walking outside the Hokage mansion, the blond took to the rooftops
His next destination the Uchiha house
Jumping from one rooftop to the other the tears started flowing down his face

Five minutes later Boruto arrived at the Uchiha house, walking to the front porch he knocked on the front door
A faint "coming!" Could be heard, and a second later the door opened slightly, the the other side stood a six year old girl with two pony tails and oxy black eyes in a pink hoody

Seeing the man infront of her she froze as if seeing a ghost, then tackled him in a hug and yelled "papa!"
"Yumi-chan..." Replied Boruto returning the hug, the father and daughter stayed like this for a moment then Boruto asked "Yumi, why aren't you with your mother?"
Hearing the question Yumi lost the smile in her face and was replaced by sadness, "papa you may not have heard but Mama married Mitsuki-san..." and Borutos genius answer was "oh..." and looked down thinking 'how could Mitsuki of all people marry Sarada?! He knew that me and her were together?!'
Yumi saw how hurt her beloved papa was so she held his hand and pulled him inside, making him sit on the couch Yumi climbed onto his lap and laid her head on her fathers chest, "papa,it was not mamas fault..." Yumi quietly said, hearing this Boruto looked at her with a look that told her to explain
"A week after you left mama started worrying and she could not sleep and kept pacing around your room and praying, I told Naruto-oji-chan about this and oji-chan started worrying about her and after talking with Sasuke-oji-chan they decided to call you back, sasuke-Oji-chan went after you and came back four days later with your cloak which had ur blood on it, thinking you were dead mama locked her self in your rom and didn't come out, she came out a day later, her eyes red and swollen from all the crying, mama then started going out every night and came home with Mitsuki-san, for the first few nights he just dropped her off and left but on the 6-7th day late at night I heard noises from mamas room, two days later Mitsuki-san moved in with us and around June last year mama and Mitsuki-san got married...mama wanted me to call Mitsuki-san 'papa' but I told mama that she will always be my mama and you will always be my papa...mama kept asking me to call Mitsuki-san 'papa'...I did not so she gave up, a week ago mama and Mitsuki-san went on a mission, she'll be back today most likely in a few hours" explained Yumi
It took a moment for all the information to set in, once it did Boruto sighed and said "well what's happened has happened and there's nothing I can do about it...one last thing sweetheart.."
"What is it papa?" Asked yumi, "Do you hear those noises a lot?" Questioned Boruto, Yumi didn't reply for a moment and said "most nights I go to bed and wake up in the morning but I hear noises from mamas room a lot, some times even in the day"
With each piece of information a piece of Boruto's heart broke
Not wanting his daughter to see his pain Boruto smiled and asked "well let's go to the gate and welcome your mama then I'll take you to eat, sound good?"
Smiling back Yumi nodded and jumped off her fathers lap and quickly ran to the door to put on her sandals

Boruto and Yumi were walking towards the gate talking about the things he missed in their life, Boruto was surprised when he found out that Yumi was dreaming of becoming a business women instead of a ninja but he was glad that she was curving out her own path and was going to support her to the very end
The father and daughter were waiting near the gate under the blazing afternoon sun, not wanting to loss consciousness due to dehydration decided to wait under a tree a short distance from the tree
The two continued talking for nearly another hour before they saw a couple walking down the path
The girl had waist length black hair with oxy black eyes, and the boy had shaggy white hair, the girl was walking on the right of the boy with her arm interlocked with his
Sarada and Mitsuki were a few feet from the gate when they heard a voice yell "mama!", turning around Sarada saw Yumi running at her and jumped into her arms, spinning herself and Yumi around a couple of times sarada hugged the girl in her arms and said "Yumi-chan! What are you doing here?! Alone for that matter?!"
Then she heard a voice from behind her that she thought she would never hear again, "she's not alone, I came along with her"
Hearing the voice Mitsuki turned around with a kunai in hand but seeing the blond man in front of him he dropped the kunai
Sarada slowly turned around, hoping that voice was who she thought it was, turning completely she saw that it was indeed the blond that her heart has endlessly loved and yearned for, but she noticed something in his eyes, the usual warmth that he had in his eyes when he looked at her in the past was long gone and it was filled with the seriousness that his eyes are usually filled with
"B..B..Boruto..." stuttered Sarada, tears filling her eyes, putting Yumi down Sarada took a step towards the blond hoping the warmth in his eyes would return and the puzzle in her head would quickly be solved
The two previously engaed were a few meters from each other when Boruto spoke "me and Yumi-chan came to welcome you two back, as you two have returned me and Yumi must leave as I promised her some more time together..." and began walking towards Yumi and held his hand out with a smile which she returned and took his hand and began walking away, just as they were about to exit the married couples hearing range Boruto stoped and turned around expect this time his eyes were blank and his voice cold said "but before we leave, welcome back...Mitsuki-san, Sarada-san" and turned back towards the road and continued walking
"Sarada-san....Sarada-san..." repeated inside her brain until the final piece fell into place, and her eyes filled with tears which almost instantly flowed down her face while she stood frozen, her conscious screaming for her body to chase him but her body disobeyed her orders

After that little conversation the father and daughter walked towards a dango shop in silence
"Papa why did you call mama 'san'?" Asked yumi
Smiling Boruto Replied "because now that your mama and Mitsuki are married I have to call them 'san'", accepting the response Yumi nodded and the two continued walking searching or a good dango shop

Sarada and Mitsuki walked to the Hokage's mansion, the former walking faster then the latter wanting to know what is going on
Getting to the Hokage's mansion then knocked on the office door, a 'come in!' Was heard and the two walked in
Wanting to be professional Sarada reported, "Sarada Uchiha and Mitsuki returning from the scouting mission, no casualties or injuries, no combat was necessary, from our assumption there is no danger for the village by any missing nin"
"Well done you two, I'll expect a written report to file by this evening. Both of you are dismissed" Replied Naruto
"Hokage-Sama, may we talk in private?" Asked Sarada
Knowing this will happen Naruto sighed responded "very well..." and leaned back on his chair before speaking once again, "I know what your about to say, the cloak that your father found was one of Boruto's, one that he discarded for a fight, the blood I can not explain, Boruto is alive and he's back, he knows about your marriage to Mitsuki, when I told him his voice froze, and now that he's back I can tell you what his mission was.."
The little hope in her heart slowly faded, nodding for the blond i front of her to continue he complied, "we both know that Boruto decided to carry on your fathers legacy and that his missions can last for years, and your dream was to become the Hokage, which would force you to be away from home a lot. And me and Sasuke knew you will have kids and if Boruto leaves the village it will be hard for you to take care of a child while looking after the village, more over Neither of us wanted our grandchild to grow up how you both did missing one parent so we decided the best thing would be for Boruto to handle the external dangers and for him to return home and become a jonin and be your shadow who is still in the village, while you are the Hokage, Boruto after hearing our explanation agreed and went of the mission trusting me and Sasuke with your protection"
Falling to her knees Sarada whispered to herself "I betrayed him didn't I? Ive should have trusted he would come back..."
Seeing the girl infront of her breakdown like that saddened him, "when I told him you were married he asked me to whom and for how long...I didn't reply so he left what before he left he said 'please congratulate the hachidaime on my behalf as I would not be present for her coronation' and left, so I'm guessing Boruto left the village and most likely would not return for some time" spoke Naruto saddened
Kneeling down next to his wife and trying to comfort him way, standing up Mitsuki spoke, "Boruto is still in the village, he's spending time with Yumi.."
Hearing this Naruto made a clone and told the clone to fetch some people

Boruto and Yumi were in dango shop eating and enjoying them selfs when Boruto felt a pull making him stop eating, noticing this Yumi spoke "papa is something wrong?"
Smiling at Yumi Boruto Said "nothings wrong sweetheart"
"Papa don't lie, I don't like it when people lie.." quietly said Yumi
Sighing Boruto Said "I felt one of my hiraishin kunai's pull, so we need to go"
Yumi put down the dango and nodded at her father
Boruto gently took yumi's hand and teleported to the kunai
Boruto and Yumi arrived at he Hokage's tower in a black flash to see a small crowd in the room with their jaws dropped
Letting go of yumi's hand Boruto stood up straight and spoke, "you called for me Hokage-Sama?"
Naruto did not respond but the another did, slowly walking towards the younger blond was an ageing Hinata, the wrinkles on her face becoming alittle more clear along with some off her hairs becoming white much like his fathers other then that his mother looked as beautiful has the day he left for the mission
"Boruto...is that really you?..." Asked Hinata as she was with in arms reach, smiling Boruto Replied "Yes kaa-san, I'm really alive" and pulled her into a hug, with tears filling her eyes Hinata hugged back and cried out "I've missed you so much!"
"I've missed you too kaa-san" Replied Boruto
The mother and son let go of their hug and moved away from each other then Boruto looked at Himawari, "aren't you going to greet your older brother who has been way from home for the last 2 years?" Rhetorically Asked Boruto
To this Himawari sook her head and rushed into him
The siblings stayed in their embrace for a few seconds before letting go
Boruto's eyes lost its warmth before he greeted his still stunned sensei, "sensei, why so stunned? It almost feels like you wanted me dead", Sasuke quickly denied the claim and said "no that couldn't be further from the truth, I saw your cloak and feared the worst, I mourned for you for the last one and a half years, I hadn't smiled till Sarada got married even though I didn't accept Mitsuki like I accepted you, I could not help but smile that day seeing the smile that was on her face"
Hearing this Boruto's eye showed alittle warmth and forgiveness towards his sensei, the young blond put his hands in his pockets and said "then I guess it was a mistake returning, because of my return I've most probably ruined a happy couples marriage"
Hearing this Sarada spoke, "me and Mitsuki were never happy...me and him both missed you so we started sleeping in the same room hoping to fill in that space that was created with your loss...", knowing things were about to get ugly Sakura took Yumi back to the Uchiha residence
"So your answer was to sleep together?" Replied Boruto, his voice colder then ice before continuing, "I would have loved you even if you went insane mourning for me or became a psychopath who loved to kill hoping that one of the people you kill was the one who was able to kill me, I was ok with this because I know that I could save you from the darkness that would surround you but you never went into the darkness but instead stayed in the light and did the worst thing you could do"
There was a moment with a silence that stretched on too long with the given situation but no one dared to break it until Mitsuki did, "She's right Boruto...we both missed you...we had hoped that we could be able to help each other heal but it didn't help...as for the marriage it was one of Sarada's idea, she put her self in a genjutsu where she would see me as you for a while and we just played it out like a marriage but it was never a marriage but I guess from the way how it went people will see it as us both getting marriage...I once asked Sarada if she wanted to have sex that it might help her relive some tension but she said the only man that can touch her would be you and since we thought you were dead she said that she will never have sex ever again...and I never slept with her on the bed she had nightmares and she asked if I could stay with her for the night so I stayed in the room and slept on the chair...I have woke up in the middle of the night from hearing her masterbate in the middle of the night to you...she would moan your name...she would say that she loved you each night before she fell a sleep...we never got married and she never cheated on you..."
Hearing the last part about her pleasuring her self and moaning made her blush, after the explanation a sigh could be heard along with the sound of foot steps could be heard, Boruto walked over to the window and looked down at the village before saying "I wish I could believe that and forgive you instantly but my heart is only one thread away from getting split in two from the septum so I don't want to put my heart in risk again, at least not until it has healed some more"
Hearing this a very small amount of hope was born in sarada's heart
