Boruto : the future

How they met...(Part 4)

Boruto opened his eyes expecting to see the Shikigami, not the endless black void that was the space heart's ceiling. Boruto did a quick test to see if all his limbs were still attached which to his relief was
Boruto slowly got his aching body to sit up, looked to his right and saw the hell hound in the same position it laid before the blonde lost conscious. Boruto slowly got to his feet and looked around for anything new, for the first time since his fight with Kawaki Boruto felt used up and tired. It in a small way bought a little joy to his heart to feel alive, that little feeling that told him that he is, alive and mortal
Boruto began walking around looking for anything that stood out just as he was looking at the part that represented the root dimension he saw a door, straightening him self Boruto began walking towards the door. Reaching the door Boruto put a hand on the door handle, "Moron,I know your strong but I'll advice you don't do that" came a feminine voice
Boruto turned his head to see the orange head with shoulder length hair wearing her green top and thigh high boots, "Give me one good reason why I should?" Replied Boruto now fully turning to face her

Delta sighed before replying, "That door lead to my home world, the Otsutsuki world, each and everyone of them is as strong as Momoshiki. Do you think you could handle an entire clan of enemies as strong as Momoshiki? Especially in the condition you are in right now?"
"You said your world, why are you on this world if that's your world? Did you come to harvest the chakra fruit?" Questioned the blond
"Why I'm not in my world is none of your business" spat the orange head
"Aren't I your enemy? Shouldn't you be encouraging me to go through that door?"  Once again said the blond asked
Delta didn't answer. Boruto stepped away from the door and began walking around looking for a way out, Boruto tried to open a portal and failed miserably, "Not enough chakra damn it!"
Delta just watched Boruto do so, "Your injured, the wounds could get infected if they are left alone" said the one Kara member before beginning to walk towards the blond. "Why should I trust you to do that? How do I know whether you'll just poison me in my weakened state?" Said the blond before continuing a moment later, "However a part of me is telling me to accept you help. But I'm warning you if you try anything funny" Boruto left the threat hanging
Delta just waved the threat away and said, "I need you're help getting out of here, so I help you, you help me get back to the shinobi world"
"Why didn't you just go home? The way home is just over there" pointed Boruto towards the door
Delta didn't respond to that and just stopped Infront of him before raising her arm to do the only medical ninjutsu she knew. She hovered her arm over his torso and shoulders, she stopped and said to Boruto, " as you may already know your shoulder is dislocated" before suddenly popping it back into place
"Some of a..." Cursed Boruto before trying to move his arm. "Thank you, unfortunately we will be here for an nother hour or so as I don't have enough chakra to dimension jump", hearing this Delta walked way and sat down on the hell hounds snout
The minutes pass by in silence, "Delta why are you so adamant on not going back to your world?" Questioned our beloved blonde. "It's none of your business" spat the petite woman before continuing, "And why the hell do you want to know so much?"
"Oh just looking for information that I can use in the future and possibly get rid of a potential dormant threat" replied Boruto
"Since we're playing twenty questions, why are you here?" Asked Delta genuinely curious. "I came here trying to find the link that connects our world with your world" carelessly replied the blond, "that is not what I mean" replied the orange head
"Then what do you you mean?" Asked the blonde inwardly smirking at being able to push her buttons
"What are you away from home? Last time I head that you and the black headed woman were together"
Hearing the mention of Sarada Boruto stiffened, "I'll take a page out of your book, what I'm doing here is none of your business" with that being said Boruto made a portal and jumped in

The portal opened to the sand dunes of Suna , Boruto looked around for any form of life
Boruto began walking towards the west, the portal was about to close when he heard the sound of panting. Turning around he saw the petite woman hunched over gasping for air, turning around Boruto began walking once again
Couple of steps in Boruto from the corner of his eyes saw the orange head walking next to him, for a moment he thought about telling her to get lost or maybe even ditching her however apart of him that he was desperately trying to ignore liked her company.

The two continued walking for several more miles the sun was close to setting and he could see the lush green first that grow at the border of fire and wind a mile or so out and if they continued at the pace they were walking at even if they reached the forest the chances of finding food and clean drinking water were growing slimmer by the minute so Boruto just hirashined to the border leaving a surprising Delta
Boruto appeared on top of a tree branch, hopping down Boruto began walking towards a clearing that he knew was near
After approximately three minutes of walking through shrubbery he arrived in a large clearing, the clearing was in a circular shape with one side opened to the sand dunes of sand country allowing the night chilled winds of the country into the clearing, in the sand dunes alittle farther out was a stream that ran from the river what flowed under tenchi bridge, Boruto dropping his bag under a tree began picking dry wood from the forest floor for a fire. Once sufficient wood and camp fire material was found Boruto made a clone that was sent of to find something to eat and clean drinking water
Sending the clone off Boruto made a pyramid with the sticks that he collected and using a small fire jutsu he lit a camp fire, not soon after the clone came back with a flask of water and two cleaned fish
Boruto waited for the fish to cook when he saw delta come out of the forest
"Why the hell did you leave me in the damn desert?!"
Boruto did not even bother answer and instead held out a cooked fish and a canister of water and said "Eat. Drink"
Delta just snatched the fish and canister and sat down by the fire grumbling about blonde bakas
After they both ate Boruto said he'll take first watch and so under the starry night Delta fell asleep and Boruto wondered about life

Ok ok I took really long to update but hey at least I gave you an update unlike some of the writers I follow 😤
I won't tell you when the next chapter will be release just that I haven't abandoned this story and I will update
So yea
