Laila

Today was the first day of dress rehearsals. To say I was not looking forward to it was an understatement. How I wish I could just go home and sleep in bed this early in the morning. I dreaded waking up early, how other people can wake up and be so happy I have no clue.

Right when I walked in saw people in groups doing certain jobs. Some were painting the scenery, others were practicing their lines, and some were just on their phones. One of the people that was doing that was Liam. I was a bit surprised that he didn't have a book with him. "Crawford." I called out to him. He didn't hear me since his ears were plugged with headphones so I took one out. "Liam!" I yelled in his ear and he jolted with surprise then placed a smirk on his face. Not a smile because this boy didn't smile. "Hey darling." He said to me. "Dumbass."

"Alright so what do we have to do." I asked Liam since I was bit later than everybody else. Half an hour to be exact. What I don't like waking up. "Well everyone's either practicing or painting, and I think we've done enough practicing for now since you know.." I nodded my face feeling flushed with the mention of our practice from last time. "Sounds great lets go." I started to walk away and start painting. 30 minutes past and here I am arguing with the teacher on the play. "Why can't Juliet hug it?!?"I asked her. We've been arguing about adding a scene. A tree hugging scene. Now it may seem weird to add that scene but I swear it would make the play so much better. "No we are not having a tree hugging scene." She said to me with a bored expression on her face. "Come on it would make it so much more dramatic, I mean picture Juliet just going on a stroll and then hugging a tree thinking about life." I argued against her. People started surrounding us wanting to know 'what the hell was going on?' "I said No miss Rivers, we are not having a stupid hugging scene with a tree!" She yelled in my face, which was totally inappropriate for a teacher to do to a student. I mean teachers are suppose to teach you lessons, and even manners. Except this teacher was a freaking plane old bitch.

I crossed my arms in response to her outrage."Calm the fuck down Ms." I tell her and her mouth was wide open, she was gaping like a fish. "Watch your language!" This teacher was getting on my nerves. I just wanted a simple tree hugging scene yet she had to make such a big deal about it. "Let me have my scene!" I whined and I could see Liam in the crowd trying hard not to break into a fit of laughter. Which I would have really liked to see cause he always had a frown or a smirk on.

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"YES!"

"FINE!" She finally gave up and I smiled in satisfactory. Everyone around us clapped and I bowed and said thank you. The teacher just walked away mumbling some words. "I hate my job." I just giggled at this then walked over to Liam. "Did you like the show, it seemed like you were about to burst out laughing." He shakes his head ,"No way I would never be caught laughing, it would ruin my reputation." I scoffed at his words. "What reputation?" He rolled his eyes in response. "For your information you're not even funny so I would never laugh." He said to me in a matter of fact kind of voice. "Whatever you say grumpy."

"Stop calling me that." He said to me. He had his signature frown on. "What it's true." I say back to him.

"Fine then since you won't stop calling me Grumpy I'll just call you kitten." I raise my brow in confusion, kitten? "Why kitten?" His frown turned into a smirk then whispered in my ear. "It's a secret."
