21. The girl I need

Liam

I want her, I do but I can't have her.
She's the only one I care about, she's all I need.
My beautiful Laila. God why do I have to ruin everything good in my life, she was like the burning fire keeping me moving. Even though I tell her to stay away I always find my way back to her.

"What the hell man?!!" Caleb barges into my room with a look of disbelief. "Laila just told me what happened." I go to lay on my bed and he walks closer. "It's none of your business, stay out of it." I tell him which aggravated  him even more.

"Don't tell me to stay out of it she's one of my closest friends and she's hurting right now because of you." He points his finger in my face. "I'm no good for her, I'll just end up causing her more trouble than what's worth." I say while bringing my hand up to my hair. "That's just an excuse for the real reason and you know that." He says to me. "And what would that be?" I ask him although deep down I knew. "You're scared to love again." I scoffed "I'm not." He shakes his head and softens his eyes. "Yes you are and so is she." Laila is scared? Why don't I know about this?

It doesn't matter I have an appointment soon with a man. I can't keep thinking about her all the time. She's my weakness, I promised not to fall for anyone ever again. I knew the consequences of love and yet I messed up by falling for her. She's all I want, I crave her presence every second of the day. I love the way she tries to act like a ferocious lion when angry with me but instead looks like an adorable kitten. That's why I call her that but she doesn't know and she never will.

"Whatever shit is going on you need to tell her because keeping it all bottled up isn't doing any good to the both of you." Caleb tells me while gesturing to the door. He's right, what the hell am I doing? I made a mistake, this isn't what I want, no what I need.  I need her not this. I'm going to tell her everything and if she doesn't want to be with me after she hears everything at least She will know that Im serious about her. I'll try till I can't even stand anymore to fight for her. Im going to get the girl I'm in love with.

Then for my best friend. I knew Caleb liked Laila I mean who wouldn't, yet he's  still helping me with her and I wouldn't have been able to face her without his help. I look back at him with a smile on his face.

"Go get her."

Hellloooo everybody! So this is a really short chapter but it is Liam's point of view so it's different. I hope I did alright portraying how he feels towards Laila since when it's her POV you can't really tell since he's so good at hiding it. 💜💕
