Laila

Maybe I shouldn't be here I feel weird strange standing here. I'm currently standing in front of Liam Crawford Kenton highs mystery boy. I told him I was here for the play but I kinda wanted to talk. Oh well here goes nothing.

I ring the doorbell once and the door opens fast. I was expecting to see Liam's signature grumpy face but I was instead met with Caleb's smile instead. "Best friend!" He hugged me and I tensed up for a moment but hugged him back. "Hey Gretchen." I said to him, I decided that I would call him that because he loves using the word fetch.

"Hello Bitch." He said to me with a grin. See he decide to call me bitch instead of Regina because if I didn't like the word fetch then I was a bitch. I roll my eyes at his nick name. "Where's Liam?" I was expecting him to be here but he wasn't. "With his girlfriend ." Oh.

He starts cracking up. "No he's actually in the kitchen but you should've seen your face, you looked like your dog just died." I glare at him. "You're so mean." I spat out at him. "Awe I'm sorry Best friend but I promise to give you one of my cookies." Cookies? I furrowed my brows in confusion. "What?" I asked.

"Well Liam is making his famous red velvet cookies and I am letting you have one of mine." We start walking towards the kitchen and I see Liam with an apron and no shirt. The heck? My face flushes in embarrassment. Where's his shirt?

"Hey bro look who came." Caleb told Liam and he turned around and faced me. I tried looking around at everything except him, but it was useless since my eyes decided to betray me and stare at this boys abs. This apron was barely covering him at all! I met his eyes and he smirked at me. Crap did he see me stare at him. "Kitten like what you see." I scoff. "Pfft no, you look like a troll." I respond back obviously Lying  because umm hello he does not look like a troll. "Yeah sure." He says not believing a word I said.

"So what are you doing here, not that I mind of course." Liam says smirking at me once again. Wow this guy is in a really good mood today, This is a rare sight to behold. "I thought we could practice the play some more since it's this weekend." I told him truthfully. We did need to practice a little more not much but maybe just a bit.

"And here I thought you were here to hang out with me since we are friends." He says to me with a strange look in his eyes. "Well that too." I say back looking at him. Caleb breaks the weird vibe in this room. "So are your cookies almost done because I'm about ready to eat a horse." We snap out of our stare down and look at Caleb.

Liam takes the cookies out of the oven and I was more than excited to try them."Liam this is why I'm friends with you." Caleb says to him with a grin. Liam just rolls his eyes. "How are you still hungry I already baked you a whole batch 20 minutes ago." I turn to look at Caleb who was devouring the red velvet cookies like his life depended on it. "That was so long ago I'm a growing boy." Caleb replies and Liam scoffs."Yeah okay."

I pick one of the cookies and take a bite. Holy mother of geese! These are so good. I took a bite and then another. "Slow down there kitten they aren't going to run away." Liam says to me pointing at my cookies. "Sorry but they're so good, I can't get enough." I say back to him. "I'm honored." He says back. How do you even make cookies taste like this? "Seriously though how did you learn to bake like this?" I asked him because I wanted to know.

"My mom taught me when I was younger." He told me with a slight tinge of pink on his cheeks, Awe adorable. "Yep our Liam here was a little mamas boy." Caleb said and I chuckled. "Shut up dude." Liam glared at Caleb and I laughed at his embarrassed face, This was just precious. Where's his mom though?

"Where is your mom?" I asked him and the playful vibe suddenly took a turn. Caleb had a sad look on his face and Liam clenched his jaw. "She's dead." I gasped , crap. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have brought it up." He glared me. "Yeah you shouldn't have." Then he looked away with an unreadable expression on his face. "Come on man chill she didn't know." Caleb puts his hand on Liam's shoulder.  Liam turns to look at me and gives me an apologetic look. "Right sorry Laila." He says to me. He called me Laila , he hasn't said that in a while. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not.

"Man the mood in here took a complete 180." Liam says scratching his neck smiling. It was fake, but then again when is anything real? "Okay lets go practice and then when we finish I'll make some more cookies." He says to us and in return we give him a smile. Caleb walks to another room and Liam and I are alone. Wow as if I thought it couldn't get any more awkward.

After our practice we went back to the kitchen everything was better now. The tension in the room was gone. "How much longer?" Caleb whined and I chuckled, He's such a child. "Laila I'm dying over here I need more cookies." I look at Caleb with shock. Seriously he's that hungry we just had cookies and he ate most of them. "Careful Gretchen you're gonna get fat." I joke with him and he gasps. "Never gonna happen I'm built of stone Bitch." I laugh at his response.

"Never say never." I tell him. "Never!" He says back to me. Ding! The cookies were done and Celebs eyes looked to the oven watching Liam pull the cookies out of the oven like in slow motion."Com on man you're killing me." Caleb was about to jump out of his chair and attack Liam.

"Wait a minute they're still hot." Caleb and I both groaned at that. We wanted these damn cookies so bad. "It's fine I won't burn myself." Caleb reassured him and I guess it worked since Liam place the batch in front of us. I grabbed a cookie and bit into it. "Ow!" I yelled it was too hot. Liam gave me a concerned look and rushed over to me.

"You never listen." I look up to meet his eyes and he grabbed me some milk. "Drink this it'll help." He hands me the glass and I obey him. I drink it and coolness of the drink immediately made my tongue feel better. "Thank you." I say to him. He returns my smile and I loved how it looked on him. He looked down to my lips. Then bringing his hand near them and whining something off. I feel like I'm on fire, his touch burned. "You had a little something." He said to me and I nod. "Thanks." He smiles and winks.

"Of course."

Hey guys.

Soo heres another chapter with Liam and Laila acting cute. Do you have any ships in this story or nah. How do you feel about Caleb? I honestly love his childish behavior and I kinda wish there was a caleb like him in my life. *Sigh* Oh well fictional characters are good enough.

Have a splendid day and don't forget to vote and share. <3
