"Hello welcome to Smoothie buster, what would you like today?" The person working the cashier at my favorite smoothie place looked bored out of his mind. He looked about my age and talked to us in a tone that screamed go away and leave me alone.

"Yeah can I have a strawberry banana smoothie and my friend here will have an avocado one." Jenny told him our orders and then we went to find a seat.

She scrunched her nose in disgust at my choice of drink. "An avacodo smoothie, it sounds nasty." I scoffed at her. "Ahem excuse you, this avocado smoothie is to die for."

"Yeah because your taste buds are going to die because of the awful taste." I just gaped at her. "you've never even tried one step judging." I pointed at her knowing that she loved to judge food and drinks on what they look like.

'And i'm never gonna, seriously that thing looks like throw up." I took a look at my DELIGHTFUL smoothie and saw that it was just plain green. "It looks fine to me, it's just green." She just shook her head. "I hate the color green!" I laughed at her, she is one of a kind.

It was already 9:00 and I was definitely late for class. I grabbed this black cropped shirt and a pair of ripped jeans and my checkered vans. Once I got all dressed I quickly get a granola bar and drive to school.

I check the time again and it's already 9:20 I'm so gonna get detention. I was running through the hallways like a maniac and crashed into someone. "Sorry." I apologized and when I lifted my head I was met with an unfamiliar face. He looked cute with wavy blonde hair and dimples.

"No worries." He said and smiled at me. I noticed he had an Australian accent which sounded so smooth. "Are you new?" I probably shouldn't be asking questions right now since I'm so late but I was curious. "Yup, I just moved here and I only know one person. Well I guess I know you now too." I smiled and he looked at my shoes. "Those shoes are so fetch." He imitated a girly voice while saying it and I laughed. Fetch seriously?

"Oh you did not just say fetch." I sassed him and he chuckled. "Yes I did bitch, and you ain't gonna stop me." Stuck his tongue out at me.

"Stop trying to make fetch happen, it's never gonna happen!" I said to him just like Regina George said to Gretchen. "Ugh I'm so upset right now." He placed his hand over his heart feigning a hurt expression. I burst out laughing and so did he. "Hi I'm Caleb and I think you and I are going to be best friends forever and ever till we die." I chuckled once more. "Hi I'm Laila and I think we just might." After my encounter with Caleb I finally decided to just skip that one class since there was only ten minutes left till dismissal. The bell rang and students flooded the halls hurried to get to class. One of those students I spotted was Liam and walked towards him since He and I shared the same class.

"Hey grumpy." I greeted he looked at me with a smile "Kitten your late." I nodded and kept walking. "Yeah I got caught up on my way there." Once we walked inside there was a commotion going on. "Attack!" Some guy said holding a bunch of paper balls in his arms. Then I noticed the class was split into two groups and they were throwing paper balls at each other. The teacher was also not here. "What's going on?" I was confused as to what was happening and how this all started. "No clue." Liam said back to me but an amused expression was on his face.

"Pick a side and start attacking!" Axter said to Me and Liam. I went to Axters group and Liam went to the other. He looked at me with a devious smile and started throwing the paper at my direction. "Stop trying to go after me Grumpy!" He just kept on trying to hit me but failing in the process. "This is a war and you're my enemy!" He replied back I threw my first paper ball and hit him right in the face. I raised my hand in victory. "Suck on that!" He groaned and sat in his desk. I was going to throw another to someone else but the teacher walked in. Everyone froze in their spots and slowly turned their head towards the door frightened with fear. Mrs. Belvid had a furious look and her face was red as a tomato.
