After dinner, I headed toward the mailbox in hopes of finally mailing my letter. I turned the corner and saw the mailbox up against a tree, visibly upset.

"Hi, Mr. Mailbox," I said approaching him.

"Hmmph," he replied.

"Would you please mail my letter?" I asked, already knowing the answer.

"That's my only purpose! No one ever comes up to me to ask 'How are you doing?' or 'Want to hang out later?' And my name's not Mr. Mailbox!!! It's Steve!!!!"

"Um... okay Steve," I said carefully.

I looked around and suddenly got an idea.

"Hey Steve, if you mail my letter, I'll play frisbee with you!"

His face lit up at the opportunity. I went to get a frisbee that I saw lying on the ground. Steve stood up and walked a short distance away from me and  stopped. I threw the frisbee at him, but it went too high, breezing over his head. I heard a heavy 'clump, clump, clump' as he ran away from me to catch the frisbee. Just as he caught it, he landed on a tent, causing a tear in its fabric. The same boy that hit me with a ball earlier in the day emerged from inside the tent.

"What happened?" he started. Then he looked at Steve.

"I can't get up!" Steve yelled, all of his metal parts moving around furiously.

"Don't worry, I have you," the boy said.

He lifted his arms, and the mailbox began to float up into the air. Then, he moved his arms to the right and Steve floated that direction, away from the ripped tent. The boy moved his arms downwards and Steve landed at my side.

"Whoa...whoa," Steve said, dazed. He looked at us. "Um...you know...I think my paint is chipped. Bye..." Steve turned around and walked away. I could hear the clunk, clunk, clunk of his mailbox body as he made his way.

"Thanks," I said to the boy.

"Oh, yeah, no problem!" he replied, smiling.

"I'm Rebecca. I arrived here yesterday," I said also smiling. "I can fly."

"That's so cool! I'm Trevor and I have levitation powers, as you can see," he replied.

"Can you lift people, or only things?" I asked, curiously.

"Not myself, unfortunately."

"It's still a cool superpower..."

Anyway, I need to get some supplies to fix the tear...see you later!"

He grinned and turned away.

"See ya..." I said, smiling to myself. I headed back towards my cabin.

I went inside and changed into my pajamas. I read for about 20 minutes before I heard one of the counselors yell, "Lights out!!!". We turned out our lights and went to sleep.
