Chapter 6

I walked into my cabin and realized that I hadn't unpacked yet. I sat down onto my bed and unzipped my bag. I put my clothes into the closet and saw Anna walk in.

"Why are you here early?" I ask.

"Since I train with two other boys, we sometimes do strength competitions and the winner gets to leave fifteen minutes early. I won this time!" she responded.

She grabbed her swimsuit and asked me,  "Want to go to the pool with me and the rest of the girls?"

"Sure!" I say as I reached for my swimsuit.

I changed in the bathroom and grabbed my towel. Then we both left the and headed to the pool. We arrived there in little time.

The pool was very crowded, due to it being a very hot day and with training finished. I spotted the girls from my cabin and headed towards the diving board. I jumped off and did a few flips in the air, while using my power to stay in the air before diving into the water. A few clapped, while others just stared at me. I blushed and went under the water. Everything was turquoise and my hair floated around me. I swam towards my friends and touched Julie on her toes under the water. I could hear her scream above the water.

I swam away as quickly as I could and came up to the surface behind a group of others. I swam innocently towards my friends and if nothing had happened.

"I swear... something touched my foot!!!" I heard Julie tell the rest of them.

I pretended to notice them for the first time and said "Hey guys! What's up?"

Julie looked at me suspiciously. "You did it, didn't you?" 

"Do what?" I said suppressing a smile.

"You did! I'm going to get you back!" she exclaimed as she raced towards me.

I started to swim away. She used her telekinesis to move inflatable pool toys in my way until she caught up to me and then poked me.

"Hey!" I complained.

I was about to say something else when I noticed everyone leaving the pool.

"Why is everyone leaving?" I asked Jesse.

"It's time for daily announcements in the gym!" she explained.

I got out of the pool and changed into my clothes.
