The sun shined into my eyes as someone opened my purple curtains.

"Raise and shine Crystal, it's your first day here." Mother Hebe smiled as the sun light the room.

"Breakfast will be in 10 minutes so hurry up." She left the room, some what skipping. Is this woman always like this? I thought. Tiredly I put on my black leggings and knee high brown boots. Then my gray tank-top. I looked in the mirror.

"I'm going to need more hair dye, damnit." My hair was originally black but after being called goth and emo I decided to dye my hair blond. Charlie and my mom weren't happy about it but Daniel just laughed calling me a basic white girl. So I still were a leather jacket that Charlie gave me when I was little. I pulled my hair into a ponytail and started to walk out the room.

"Oh no almost forgot my amulet." An orange and yellow amulet sat on my desk. I quickly picked it up and wrapped it around my neck.

"Come on Cryssy, breakfast starts soon." Ryan stood by my door covered in machine oil.

"Don't ever call me Cryssy again or you will lose an eye." I growled.

"Funny now lets go." He pulled on my arm as we entered the hallway.

"Where'd you get that necklace it's nice."

"My Dad gave it to me when I was born. It's the only thing I have from him." I held the amulet tightly in my hand. "He gave me this instead of staying in my life, at least he could have visited me on my birthdays."

"It's the pain of having a God as a parent. They don't care that much about us. I haven't seen my dad since I was 9, and that was when he and my mom decided to send me here." Ryan's face dropped, but as he looked down at the ground a black fog covered my feet.

"Uh Crystal, what's that?" I looked down and jumped in surprise. The fog followed me where ever I went.

"Get this stuff away from me!" I ran around the hall looking like I was in drugs. The fog started disappearing but not until I heard a girl screaming. Oh great she probably thinks I'm going to kill her with this fog, I thought.

"You killed my flower friend!" The girl walked up to me in anger. She had on a green dress, with brown flats. Her dirty blond hair was pulled up in a bun and had flowers all over it.

"Look what you did!" She shoved the dead flower in my face. The thing must have been alive not less them 2 seconds ago.

"I didn't do anything, I swear!"

"Who are you anyway? Do you just like coming into places to kill others' plants?"

"I'm new here, my name is Crystal Riggs and I promise you that I had nothing to do with your flower." I said.

"You just feel like death is following you around. You did kill my flower!" The girl stomped off to the dining hall. I stood completely confused.

"Damn you made enemies with Rosa Charm, that's impossible." Ryan started laughing. I hit him in the stomach.

"Shut it, who is she to say that I feel like death."

"She's a daughter of Demeter, and pretty nice one too. And that fog probably killed the-" he looked at me in horror.

"That fog appeared when you were talking about your dad, and the flower died...your dad's-" Mother Hebe cut him off.

"You two should really be eating breakfast shouldn't you?" We nodded and walked to the dining hall in silence. The breakfast was kinda boring since Ryan was talking to his siblings and Rosa just kept glaring at me. Mother Hebe walked up to the front of the dining hall and everyone went quite.

"Children we are going to be having some guests here this week. They are from camp half-blood, and will be helping me with some things. Please make them feel like they are at home." 8 teens stood up.

"This is Percy, Jason, Piper, Annabeth, Nico, Hazel, Frank, and Leo." Many of the kids gasped and murmured to each other.

"Who are they?" I whispered.

"Those are the kids who saved the world from Gaea." Ryan replied excitedly. I studied them all, Percy looked to be about 17, along with Annabeth. Nico was probably 16 in my opinion, and the rest looked to be 14. I looked at Nico a little closer. We seemed to have the same sense in clothing, and he looked a little paler than me. His eyes turned to me but I couldn't look away. I knew him, I knew him! I've met Nico before and he seemed to have the same thought. The girl, Hazel, shook Nico out of his thought and he whispered to her. She had a face of surprise on.

"Okay breakfast is over, you all must get to your classes." Mother Hebe dismissed us but I still sat there. How did I know him, and what did he say to Hazel?

"You're my sister."

"Ahhh!" I jumped in surprise. Nico sat on the bench next to me, studying me.

"W-what no!"

"You radiate death." He said blankly. Well damn!

"Who are you?" I said trying to act tough.

"Nico di Angelo, son of Hades."

"Crystal Riggs and I am no daughter of Hades." I stood up trying to leave but he grabbed my hand.

"Wait!" The black fog wrapped around our hands and sent shocks though us. We fell to the ground in pain. Hazel ran over and made sure that he was fine. I still lied on the floor, the pain seemed to much for me.

"Crystal you okay?" Nico asked. Hazel lifted me up onto her shoulders.

"What happened?" I held my head.

"That shock, it's the same thing when Hazel and I touch." He said in shock.

"The curse is...almost complete." Hazel said scared.

"What do you mean?"

"The 3 children of death, were all together now." Nico dreaded. My eyes widened.

"I'm not the daughter of Hades, I keep telling you that."

"Then explain the dark helmet above your head." I looked up to see a black helmet and black flames. My head went light and my limbs weak. Within seconds I fainted.

My dad is Hades.
