"They aren't here Percy." I said questionablely. He looked down the hallway confused.
"They have to be!" He yelled we strolled down the hallway and looked around. The room were quiet and empty. No gods to control them. Something is off, I thought.
"Let's split up. Maybe we can find them." Jason suggested. We nodded in agreement and left each other. I walked towards the garden. It all looked like a normal garden: trees, plants, fruit. Nothing was out of place other then there being no God's.
"Help me..." I heard a small cry and turned to a tree. It looked rotten and old; nobody would have this in their garden.
"Um hello? Who said help?" I asked.
"Me, I'm in the tree!" They yelled.
"What, how did you get into a tree?!"
"First get me out!" I looked around the garden to see if there was anything to bust the tree open with. I threw rocks and branches but nothing happened.
"Daughter of Hades use your abilities!" They yelled. Wait how did they know it was me?
"I don't know how." I said. Did they mean using the fog? My mind was so jumbled that I didn't even realize that the fog was already starting to form around my feet. I jumped in surprise, how do I use it, I thought. I walked over to the tree and put my hands on it and the fog followed. It started to pick at the dead tree making it crumble. A wood nymph jumped out.
"Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you!" She hugged me.
"How were you trapped in there and how did you know I was the daughter of Hades?" I asked.
"Well I knew that part because I told by Demeter that you killed plants and to watch out. But how I was trapped in there, it's a long story." As she was about to talk to Percy, and Jason walked over.
"We found nothing." Jason said.
"I think this nymph knows something though. Uh what's your name again?" I asked after realizing I didn't know her name.
"Daisy, and yes I do know what happened. I was calming playing in the garden when a hundred handed one came into Olympus!" She shook.
"I thought the hundred handed ones were supposed to stay in Tartarus?" I was starting to get very confused.
"They are but someone let them lose. The monster wanted revenge on the gods for betraying them. He took the gods one by one while they slept and dragged them to the underworld!" She yelled.
"And while I was trying to run away with the other nymphs I was suddenly turned into a dead tree. It was so scary in there, I could feel myself getting weak but thank you." Percy, Jason, and I stared at each other. A monster had took the gods and brought them down to Tartarus!
"How are we going to save the Gods?!" I asked. The two boys didn't know what to say.
"We don't know." I stared at the ground trying to think when I saw a sort of dagger come out the ground. I picke it up, it was a beautiful thing but it wasn't my idea to fight. I held the dagger up to my face and say my reflection. My black hair was nearly covering my roots and my eyes were dull. I thought I knew what I had to do. I held the dagger up to my neck.
"Cry stop!" Percy grabbed my arm.
"The 3 children of death, Once they utter their final breath ,The world will finally be at rest, but, For if they live, horror will come to light, And the monsters shall rise and everyone will met their demise. That's what the prophecy says. If I die everything will go back to normal." I said.
"We are going to find a ways to stop it and without killing you. Jason and I are on this mission to save you, Nico, Hazel, and the world." I held the dagger by my side.
"Okay, but I'm going to keep this dagger on me in case." He nodded. I held the dagger up and it turned into a hair tie. I smiled and used it.
"So if the gods aren't here to tell us what items that prophecy meant then where are we going to go." Jason asked.
"Oh I know, Chiron can help. He's trained demigod through centuries and maybe he's heard of these items before." Percy answered.
"Um who's Chiron?" I questioned. I know I've heard the name before but I couldn't put my tongue on it.
"You'll see when we get to camp half blood." I was still confused in the whole conversation that I didn't ask. We thanked Daisy and went back to the Empire State Building.
"Wait we have to walk all the way again?" I whined.
"No I think I'll call the Pegasi." Both whistled and soon 2 horses came flying over. An what looked to be a cloud horse came too.
"Hey Blackjack, long time no see!" Percy smiled and jumped on his back. Jason did the same on his cloud horse which I thought was kinda weird, but this is the demigod life I guess. I walked over to a peach colored horse and tried to get on. She kept backing away from me.
"Come on, let me ride you." I huffed.
"Uh Crystal, Astar doesn't want you to talk like that to her." Percy noted.
"Wait how do you know what she wants?" I argued.
"I can talk to horses, duh son of Poseidon." I rolled my eyes at Percy.
"Fine then. How do I get her to let me ride?"
"Why don't you ride Blackjack, I'll ride Aster." I nodded and got on his horse. Blackjack didn't seemed happy to have a rider other than Percy. We left the building and started flying. The boys talked while I thought to myself. This isn't how our quest was supposed to start. We should have at least gotten one of the items instead we found a Nymph in a tree and a dagger from the ground. And the worst part, I don't even know where we're going!
Hey guys sorry for the late update but for the last 3 weeks I've been extremely busy with babysitting, school and moving. SMILE.
