I jumped off Astar and stared at the garden. It was beautiful, better than anything my mom had done. The plants created a walkway and the marble status looked so real! No fruits hanged on the trees or bushes other than a Golden apple straight ahead. There is it, the fruit of  Gold. I thought in aw. We need to get it now. I don't want to die. I took a step and realized that there was no bush under the tall tree but a dragon. It slept soundly but I cursed in my head.

"Ladon..." Percy said in somewhat fear. The looked as if to be falling back into a memory.

"How on earth do we defeat that thing?" Valentina spoke. I looked over at her in determination. I want to show her that I am greater and more powerful than her.

"Well, I could always just kill it with my fog." I bursted out without thinking. Oh Gods I hope I can do that.

"Hold on there, Tiny. We can't do that. You could kill the tree, you don't even know how to control it!" Jason told me. But I can, I can do it. My hands were starting to get sweaty and my heart beat fast. I took a deep breath in.

"I'm sure it's fine. I'll be careful." I closed my eyes but before I knew it Valentina had pulled out a bullwhip. I backed up in surprise and my heart raced. She coiled the whip and released it, the braid wrapped around my wrists and I fell to the ground. Why won't she let me prove myself to her. She thinks I'm a burden!

"What the heck are you thinking, Valentina?! This is the only way we can do this!" I yelled in anger. Without me realizing, my fog spread out underneath me. The grass around me began dying and any and all animals ran away. I stared at Valentina. She fluttered her eyes and smiled sweetly.

"Oh, Crystal, you don't want to do that. That dragon did nothing wrong, you shouldn't kill him." I felt my lumps go weak and my heart slowed down. What was happening to me? My head started to go foggy.

"B-But... We need that fruit..." She stood nearly touching me. My body relaxed and I lost all control in my head.

"Awh, we'll get it. But only if you go get us all food so we can eat before facing him." I nodded and stood up. Calmly I walked off and my mind started coming back to me. After 10 minuets of Walking I fell down.

"What-what happened?" My head hurt. I walked over to a fountain and sat. I wanted to help....before I sat up and man appeared in front of me. He had pale skin, and sunken in eyes. His black hair fell to his neck and his bread curled. He stood so much taller than me and worn purple and black robes.

"Who are you?" I jumped back. He walked closer to me and held his hand out.

"It's fine Crystal...You've grown so big....." he said calmly. I looked at him confused.

"I'm sorry I was never able to meet you. I couldn't witness your birth or any birthday. You can call me a horrible father, like all of your siblings have." I stared letting my brain think.

"Dad....." I whispered. Without thinking I ran and hugged him. "Dad!" He lifted his arms up uncomfortably but calmed down. He crouched to my leave and hugged me. When he touched me the blonde dye in my hair disappeared and showed my black waves. My amulet shined a dark red.

"Hey sweety, I'm here."

"But why are you here?" I pulled back tears running down my face. He wipped my tears away.

"You need to hurry on this mission. We have been betrayed by our own and I fear for you and your siblings safety." He held my shoulders tightly.

"Crystal, you must stay weary of how you meet, and please my daughter, do not show fear. They smell it and will find you." He put a hand on my amulet.

"This amulet will only protect you when you truly need it." Hades dropped to the ground in pain.

"Dad, what's wrong!" I said worried.

"I must go they are all now trying to take over the underworld." He started to vanish and I tried to grab him but I couldn't. Once he was gone I cried a little. Who are 'they'. Why do they want me? I was broken out of my thoughts when I felt large footsteps pounded on the ground. I looked up to see Ladon.........IN MAKE UP!!??! I tried not to snicker but the dragon growled.

"Hey boy it's okay I'm not going to hurt your caked faces." I giggled. I put my hand over my mouth to stop from smiling. Ladon walked closer to me glaring. I stepped back but hit the water fountain. He roared in anger. My body stiffened in fear, I can't run I have to fight. I took my hair tie off and it transformed into my dagger. The fog uncontrollably appeared around me and dispersed from the dagger. Ladon charged at me but I jumped out the way. For once I was glad I was small because I moved sneekly from the garden avoiding him. Once I saw the tall tree I ran to it but I didn't realize I was in the open. One of Ladon's head snaked around and squeezed me. I felt the air in my lunges come out and my head went light. I tried to conjure up my fog to save me but I couldn't. Jason was right I can't control it.

"Ladon let her go!" Valentina yelled. The heads just stared back, and charged at the group. I tried to get away but my vision started to get hazy. The garden was turning black and I could barely make out the group fighting Ladon. The last thing I remember was my fog in casing me.
