Chapter 7: A dwarf enters

I held onto Blackjack for dear life. We were so high in the sky that I almost threw up. Jason laughed at me the entire time.

"What's wrong Tiny, don't like hights?" He chuckled. I didn't even look at him.

"I like the ground and the ground only!" I cried. I had never gone higher than a 4 story apartment; this terrifies me!

"It's okay we're almost to the camp." Percy reassured me. I was ready for this to be over. Truthfully I love horses but being at the height of an airplane, Nah! I kept my eyes closed until Percy yelled that we were there. Blackjack landed on the grass and jumped off. The boys started laughing and so did the horses.

"Hey shut it!" I yelled. I stood up and started to look around this 'Camp Half-blood'. The place was huge. Damn this place looks nice, not as nice as home though, I thought. People ran around laughing and talking but some started to surround us. I stood in the middle of Percy and Jason looking at everyone. A girl that looked like a child walked up. She was so small, smaller than Crystal. She chuckled a little.

"What brings you here, Percy?" The girl asked.

"We're on a mission." I answered. The girl looked at me and so did Jason.

"Hmph, what about?" She demanded. I rolled my eyes at the girl, she was so bossy!

"The gods are gone." The crowd gasped and Percy and Jason started at me. The girl just put her hand on her hips and glared at me. I hated her already.

"You mean to tell me that Olympus is vacant? You must be kidding. Nice joke." This child was getting on my nerves fast. I was hoping she was going to walk away until Jason spoke.

Wait! What's your name?" He asked.

"Valentina. What about it Sky Boy?" I crossed my arms annoyed. Aw a lovey dovey name, I hated it. I really wished I was Eros right now so I could shoot an arrow into her. Stupid daughter of Aphrodite, I thought.

"We...I think you're the person we need...for the quest." I stared at Jason surprised. This child who looked younger than me with her height was to go on the quest! I clenched my fists to stop from having a random outburst of my fog.

"Hmph. I suppose." Suppose, SUPPOSE! Oh I was ready to kill her. This was a mission to find our parents and she thought it was a child's game! I narrowed my eyes at her thinking of how I could...you know what never mind.

"Why me!" Yeah fates explain. Why her!

"You stand out. You wouldn't if we didn't need you or something like that." Percy answered. I looked at him stupidly. That's the reason...

"Give me time to get my things." She said. I could somewhat hear a guy whisper but I didn't know what he said. The next thing I knew Valentina was choking the guy out. I stepped back in surprise. I am not sharing this mission with a lunatic! That little dwarf stood up and walked past us. I narrowed my eyes again and scowled. I hate that pretty little princess. Once she left I bursted out

"WHAT IN TARTARUS ARE YOU TWO THINKING! THREE PEOPLE ARE FINE ON THE QUEST!" My face was flustered and fog started to circle around my feet. Everyone gasped and jumped back.

"Calm down Tiny we need her." Percy said.

"NO WE DONT NEED THAT DWARF! SHE'S NASTY, RUDE, AND AND!" The fogs bursted around me everyone ran away. I fell to the ground tired. The fog dissipated and Percy and Jason ran over to me.

"Are you okay?!" They asked. I nodded.

"Lets take you to the Hades cabin to calm down." Percy picked me up and put me on his back. I was like a rag doll compared to him. I yawned and closed my eyes until I fell asleep. After about an hour I woke up with Nico staring at me. I jumped up.

"What in Hades Nico!" He chuckled.

"Just checking up on you sis." He walked over to my bed.

"I already talked to Jason and Percy about everything. You had an outburst and nearly killed everyone." I crossed my legs and huffed.

"Those two added another girl to the group. She thinks this quest is a game." He nodded.

"Just learn to keep your emotions in control, Crys. You still haven't learned the effects of your powers. This was a little outburst and you became tired. Image what will happen if it was bigger." I put my head down.

"I'm sorry." He hugged me and stood up. Percy knocked on the door and Nico let him in.

"Hey, were going to leave soon." I nodded and stood up. Nico held my hand so I wouldn't fall.

"Nico you should go back the Mother Hebe's." The boys looked at each other and then looked at me.

"What?" I asked.

"Hebe's gone. She was asked to go to a meeting with all the minor gods and she never came back." Nico answered. My face dropped.

"Lets hurry this mission then." I walked out the the cabin and met Jason at the Dinning Hall. Percy came over and told me that Nico went back to help the others. I sat down and looked at my hands, thinking. Percy and Jason spoke to a someone who came up to us. I looked up and saw that he was a horse. My eyes widened and he laughed.

"I'm Chiron. It's nice to meet you Crystal." I nodded and looked back at my hands. I am done with the craziness! The grouped talked and talked. I thought I heard another voice join in. I broke out of my thought and looked up. I saw Valentina and glared, she did likewise.

"Well...I suppose that you all will stay for the night?" Chiron asked.

"I don't really think that's the best choice. We need really need to get this quest over with before that prophecy comes true." Percy said. I looked down in my lap again.

"People could die." Once Jason said that my heart stopped. He's talking about me. I held tightly to my dagger.

"Then I suppose you should be on your way. Grab some food on the way out if you'd like." Chiron said. I stood up and walked out standing next to the boys. I picked up a pomegranate before we left. Kids stared at me when I did that but I just ate the fruit. We got back to the Pegasi and I stood in front of Astar. She pushed her head at the pomegranate. I picked out a few seeds and gave them to her. She nhayed happily. I smiled and jumped on her back. Suddenly the Pegasi started to fly. I held onto Astar tightly and looked around. I saw Valentina hold onto Jason scared. He has a girlfriend, witch. I thought.

"How about we held to Hera's garden I yelled. The thought just hit me, fruit of gold equaled Hera's garden!

"Shut it kid!" Valentina yelled. I stared at her. Percy and Jason nodded at each other and led the way.

"Smart thinking Tiny!" I sat back on Astar eating the pomegranate. Please kill Valentina first.
