Our family walks down to the bus stop and like every other Abnegation family, waits for everyone to get on before we do. Although I am significantly annoyed by this- it was raining- I know that it is the right thing to do. And I don't want to show our family up on choosing day. So I stifle a sigh and patiently stand shivering in the cold. My eyes meet with Anna's, and she smiles at me. She would never leave me. Or wold she? I honestly have no idea. When eventually we are the final people left standing at the bus stop, our family calmly gets on the bus. I nearly tripped up the stairs, gaining a tut from my father, but I ignore it and take a seat, watching the Abnegation houses go by. All the same, none different, home.
I must have been in a deep daydream, because I don't realise that we have arrived at the Hub until a Dauntless yells it across the bus, awaking me. I stare out the window, almost gasping in awe at how big it is. And then we're getting off the bus and walking up the 15 flights of stairs to the choosing room. My parents and I take a seat with all the other Abnegation and Anna quickly comes to see us. She gives my parents a quick hug and then comes to embrace me. Her steely eyes look up at mine, and she smiles a timid smile before going to join the others. I'm sure that she won't leave Abnegation.
I'm sure of it.
