seungyoon had spend the past weeks separating himself from other people, especially kyungmi and taehyun. for some reason he didn't even know, why he felt so numb, while drowing himself in work again.

late at night he stood in front of the bathroom mirror, brushing his teeth. speaking the truth: he looked terrible. seungyoon had dark circles beneath his eyes, his hair was oily and he had lost an unhealthy amount of weight.

eventually kyungmi would enter the bathroom and seunyoon ignored her- but just until the point when she wrapped her arms around him from behind.

immediatly he dropped his shoulders; actually he didn't have to ask what was wrong with her, he just knew.

kyungmi had broken up with minhyuk and it was ruining her, while there wasn't much that seungyoon could do for his best friend.

probably he should've felt relieved, that minhyuk was finally out of their lifes, but somehow it had been so apruptly- it was just downright weird.

eventually kyungmi let go off him again. "i'm sorry, i should just go to my room."
with that she left, leaving a very confused seungyoon behind.

quickly he finished brushing his teeth and went to the kitchen to make a hot chocolate at the speed of light... these actions were probably the only things that he had done fast during the past weeks.

seungyoon found kyungmi in her room, staring at the wall with a blank face. "is this really happening?" her voice was barely louder than a whisper.

"i don't know." mumbled seungyoon, sat down next to her on the edge of her bed and placed the hot chocolate on the nightstand.

since he felt too sad himself to say something cheerful, he just softly rubbed her back, knowing she's always find it comforting.

after a while kyungmi gave in and leaned against his shoulder, while taking small sips of the hot chocolate.
but the more she replayed the events in her head, the worse they got.

their whole reality had twisted into one dark, unwelcoming truth; that non of this had ever been supposed to be.

also that their arguments hadn't settled yet and although on one side they might've seemed petty by now, both of them knew, that there was more behind it.

rather ungently she freed herself and tried to make up as much space as possible between her and seungyoon.

with teary eyes she looked at his hurt expression and hurt him even more.
"get out, i don't want to see you."
