New life and decisions...

It's been a week since Monika joined us in the real world, and things have been... weird to say the least. Monika and Sayori have been getting along well, but Monika's been having weird episodes. She still has her powers from the game, just not as strong. She comes to me whenever it happens.

"Jack, it happened again! I don't know what to do!" She yelled. I hugged her and held her close.

"Don't worry Monika. We'll figure this out together. I promise, you won't have to worry about this any longer." She raised her head to look at me, a smile on her face. After that, the episodes stopped. Sayori was still on good terms with Monika. Still the best of friends, as to be expected. They didn't share me. Rather, they were always with me at the same time, and I always gave them both equal amounts of attention. Monika even moved into my bed with me and Sayori since then. I was in the middle, Sayori on my left holding my hand, and Monika on my right cuddling with me. Since then, we had reopened the literature club in school. We were all members with myself as president. We all saw the nightmare when Sayori and Monika were presidents, plus Yuri and Natsuki didn't want to be president, so I won by default. Yay. Everyone gave us weird looks as we went by. I didn't care, and neither did Sayori or Monika. Then the day came...

It started off like any other day: Monika got up first, she wakes up me and Sayori, we get dressed, Natsuki makes breakfast, we eat and head off to school. At school, we saw a poster that read

"Winter formal soon! Bring a date!" I saw it and my heart sank. I knew that meant I could only bring Monika or Sayori, not both. This thought was tearing me up inside. They didn't ask about it until we got home.

"So who are you taking to the dance?" Sayori asked at home. Monika nodded.

"Yeah! It said you can only take one date! Who's it gonna be?" She asked, hoping for the answer to be her. I had an idea.

"I know! I'll take one of you as my date and the other one as a 'friend'. Then once there, I'll date Monika one half and Sayori the other half! Win win!" I said. Monika and Sayori stare at me for a second. They then hugged me at the same time, saying I was a genius for coming up with that idea. The day of the dance arrived and I drove Monika and Sayori to the dance hall. I started off the dance by going out with Sayori. She was a very good dancer, to say the least. Then a slow song came on, and I danced with Sayori. We talked during the dance.

"You know, I never thought I'd get to dance with you. You're just... so nice and caring. You saved Monika and all of us. I..." I put my finger to her lips.

"It's okay. I understand. I love you too Sayori." I said. As the song concluded, I hugged Sayori tighter than ever before. She pulled me into a kiss. When the time came, Monika came over as Sayori went to hang out with Yuri and Natsuki. Near the end of the dance, I saw Natsuki walk up to the dj and request a slow song. I was dancing with Monika as she started talking to me.

"Jack, I want to say thank you for everything you've done for me. You freed me from my digital prison and gave me another chance. I just hope we can be together forever." I asked about Sayori.

"There's no reason you can't marry both of us, right?" She asked. Marriage? When did this come about? Either way, I didn't care. Everyone was happy. The song ended and I kissed Monika. I hope this relationship lasts forever. Monika and Sayori are the perfect girls for me. I know they'll stay with me forever if they can, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
